love my one. 100% spend the money again wouldn't think twice splay is a bit big but this is going into be changed and you'll be able to buy a different size bars to sort that out
Hi mate great review of a great pod. I got the black RP1 and I love it ! I lm of the same opinion with the bag it's not very good lol I got the singles bag from Johnson Ross it's made by cotswold aquarius and has pockets on it fir your bits and bobs blinding bag tbh ! Could I please ask where you got the red colors on your sticks on the pod please ? Thanks mate.

Excellent review I have got a N Brice pod a d I agree their is a bit of faf getting the sticks lined up the other problem I had was the back sticks was short and I could not drop the rods down . I tried getting in touch with N Brice to no avail I found out later that they been bought out by Wolf how true that is I don't know
Thanks for the compliment, when I had my nbrice I had slightly longer backs than the front so really didn’t have that problem, I believe nbrice are still going I did hear rumours that wolf where getting involved maybe drop them an email see if they can help you mate. Other than that johnson Ross carry spares I believe.
I sent mine back after buying it and realising how close the reels are together. Absolute nightmare if you don’t have folding handle reels. The splay on the rod tips also wasn’t to my liking The bag was cheap and didn’t have pockets for things like swingers, receiver etc You would also need to buy additional long banksticks to allow you to get tips up or down As per video the stabiliser is also a must or when you pick the rod up with a grip style rod rest the whole back comes up. Especially with the black one as it’s so light Why on earth they didn’t put extending legs on the 4 arms as that would have solved so many issues Apart from the above it’s build quality is unreal. Proper engineering as you would expect from jag. It’s imo the best looking pod on the market
I've heard a few says exactly the same. I've gotta be honest I've got shimano mags there close but don't touch. I agree with what your saying about the extra legs would be beneficial. And your spot on with the bag definitely needs extra compartments for bobbins etc which I mentioned but I can't complain with build quality of the pod I understand its not going to be for everyone, and I really appreciate your comments it all helps others.
It takes two seconds to unscrew jag snag ears, what u can’t wait that long! Just unscrew them set the bolt to highest setting it’s not rocket science or time taxxing
Do you have the link for eBay or the sellers details from your buying history? Just ordered the stainless. Still selling out very fast. Testament to quality and functionality I’d say for sure.😊
That’s what I was looking at before I purchased the rp1 cannot knock the quality but very similar to the nbrice couldn’t be doing with all the faff with the banksticks. But the workmanship is exceptional of what I’d seen
