Interviewer fortunate tha k ye 2 legend saath mein baithe hain....lekin beech2 mein baat katker apni baat angrezi mein bolne lagta hai. Iam sure ye fire ho gaya hoga is interview k baad.
Very disgusting interview of both the legends but they both are still calm & cool. Anchor is confused about the subject or what he wanted to ask them. Don't know why this has been posted on RU-vid.
Have visited this page after a long time...this gets even better. Gulzar and Jagjit had a great conversation; instead of enjoying the conversation they are concerned with me. Its bloody pathetic. Honestly, the interviewer's tone n tenor ( he is so irritatingly full of himself)should've been toned down n the setting should've been appropriate in keeping with the legendary status of the creative Giants : Gulzar Sa'ab n Jagjit Singh ji. Very prosaic .. very lacklustre what could've been an unforgettable interview!

RKB2052 : When i read that it was an interview of two legends of this stature, i was really glad too much and it is past midnight that instead of sleeping ,i preferred to listen to them. I had not read any comments upto first tive mins. But you should very much agree that interviewing different personalities demand different kind of modulation or calibration. Aapki sabse badi gustakhi ye thi ke aap shuru se hi inki barabari karne ki koshish ki.aur dikhe aise karte hue..hindi mein kehte hain "badbolapan"...i hope i have been able to summarise the common reactions listeners generated including me..You were felt similar to Kareena kapoor's husband to be in the film three idiots...before amir khan...regards
Great Gulzar sahab and Jagjit ji but this interviewer should learn how to speak, how to be mellow while talking about arts...he has a typed laughter and his bad skills of asking questions. very poor boss. frustrating experience.
This interviewer ruined the show. I thought it is just me but looking at the comments, I feel most people felt it that way. So my comment is unnecessary. I came here to listen to Gulzar n Jagjit but ....
Ha ha ha ha ho ho ho...fantastic. The bunch of losers writing about how they wish the interview had been done by someone else. Its like saying Maachis should have been directed by someone else, not Gulzar. And Chadavi ki Raat Thi should have been sung by someone else , and not by my old friend and fellow racing enthusiast jagjit Singh...Well it was done by me...and this is one interview I loved doing. agreed. quite a pathetic interview. There are some very good Vividh Bharathi hosts like Yunus Khan or Amar Kant Dubey...or bunch of Rajya Sabha ...hosts doing shakhshiyat etc. Irfan...would have done justice. I echo several people's sentiments here ..that two stalwarts on same stage and this joker host who did not have any sense of Poetry nor any music ..nor any language flow..nor any clarity on the half baked ANGREZI.conversations....not sure whether that was American or British accent ..Indian accent would have been better:-)
Have revisited this page after sometime. Its incredible how a bunch of no-hopers, unbearably cheap, obscene, arrogant and dimwitted people can get together and shower abuse on an anchor. Gulzar saheb is a dear friend. Jagjit was one of my best buddies. All of you will always remain on the outside, looking in...and showering abuse on all and sundry. But good for me...keep watching... Salute to the legends, Jagjit Singh & Gulzar Saheb! But I must say this anchor (RKB, I have never heard of him) is ridiculously bad. The most pathetic anchor that could have interviewed these two legends, it really can't get worse. He seems clueless, appears discourteous, and has no sense of music or poetry. I wish a better anchor would have done this interview.
this is the worst interview I have ever seen. you asked stupid questions throughout the interview. I can understand probably you are not that experienced, but you should have admitted that rather than showing this bloody arrogant attitude.
