Why? He was the least progressive and least clear on policy out of all the candidates, and while they ran on the issues, he ran a very self-centred campaign reliant platitudes and cockiness and style.

I grew up with a lot of Sikh's in Canada and they are a very welcoming and hard working people. They have folded themselves into the Canadian mesh and we are all stronger for it.
You love him so much that you don't mind that his campaign was mostly about himself and not so much about the issues which impact us. Glad you're happy that your vote counted, but I'd like my vote to count too, which means he can't keep Proportional Representation on a backseat in his campaign for 2019 (like he didn't even have PR on his website and hardly mentioned it until about a week ago, and then just copy-pasted it from Guy Caron).

You are correct (I am a sikh, just a FYI). This is why I don't believe in politicians..they are all the same in all countries irrespective of race, colour, or religion. I believe that Jagmeet Singh is a puppet put forward by the political elite (the real power that operates from behind the curtain) in order to fool people into believing that things will change. This is what they achieved through Obama in America.
