I was going to say its all trash since then, but guess weve had j cole, kendrick, logic, nf. Definitely not as many quality artists in the last ten years though
I've DJ'd for 30 years, I know World class DJ's. I can't work out how he can do this. I used to think he has five virtual decks. I'm thinking it's six now, fourth time of listening. U Bookmark this, because this is once in a lifetime. I can't work out, how he does it. My head is about to explode. This is special.
My heart's still with late 80s/early 90s for iconic tunes but the scope of how many bangers there were mid 90s to mid 00s is off the scale. Hip Hop can never be as good as it was
Saw him play at a festival a couple of years ago. Amazing!! Although, his young son was dancing on the stage. Stole the show. Role on Jaguar Skills Junior 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Love this! Started listening to hip hop in '98, and am more familiar with the newer stuff. Hearing the original hip-hop tracks really puts everything in perspective and completes the 'loop' so to speak.
@sheldon... good to hear someone showing interest in the origins and history of hip hop... it fills me full of hope that all the classics aren't forgotten and the evolution of hip hop throughout the years is recognised. Respect mate. I'm lucky to still have most of these on vinyl. Many of my friends sold their collections and regret it now. Tho from about 2002 onwards it gets a bit samey and poppy...lol... about the time I bought less records.
Jaguar skills doesn’t touch garbage hip hop so a another 2006 to present day won’t happen. PS I love playing these all through and the drum n bass one and carnival mix they always brighten my day.
Maaaaaaan. Uk guy = I started listening ti HH in '83, hoooked ever since. First gig was '85, Kurtis Blow at Kentish Town and country club, anyone else there?
100% right!! 2003 is the year i was forced to stop listening to hip hop, it had sunk too far in the shit...there was a handful of decent releases in 2004 but that was pretty much the end of the hip hop as we knew it. Since then i have just stayed in my 1988 - 2002 bubble
you are obviously missing the point of jag skills mixes ... the beauty of his mixes are that u always want more , but within 2 seconds thats overtaken by wanting more of the next song ... its genius !
godness if u have a history of rock, its true that u use tiny bits of each song, but still amazing and fun to listen to! and really nostalgic to hear some songs :D
nah nothings changed since the early 2000's. music has barely changed, some styles got worse, some got better but mostly it sounds the same barring quality. Clubbings the same, raves are the same. Most of the big changes were before that in the 1960's, 70's, 80' and 90's. Big changes in fashoin, music, lifestyles every few years. When the 2000s hit everything must have peaked most music sounds almost the same, dubstep was the last all new genre to be created, im talking Bristol/London dubstep. The internet came around and that was the big change, it keeps people in their homes and keeps you entertained while in the 80's home was shit. I had a Atari 2600 shit games single player only, you guys can play anyone in the world
