I just heard from the Murad Murali video the reason Diddy settled so fast is because Cassie didn't just sue Diddy personally for all that he did to her, but she sued him as her employer she being an employee, which means Diddy's whole Corporation/Record Company was hit so Diddy's lawyers settled in a flash, because Diddy's going down fast. Oh yeah, and Cassie can still write a book for her and Kim. This gives new meaning to taking a licking and keep on ticking Cassie.
Yes, It is called vicarious liability where an employer can be held liable for the actions of its employees. Since Diddy owns the corps and is an agent of those companies, the whole company can be held liable. There are other companies he is affiliated with that I am sure they also sued.
@@LettyG-sr3lm not about Diddy. I believe that if someone settles within 3 months of a lawsuit then the victim can still divulge pertinent information about the accused. But his lawyers were working on the case for over six months. The difference is that it recently went public. So people believe that she’d be able to get a book published or even talk about her experience without any legal kickback. When that’s not the case. Legally a publisher cannot publish her book. And she’s free to say what she wishes still, but that would dishonor the settlement.
