Jaguar XF Sportbrake (Team Review) - Fifth Gear 

About 7 years ago, I slept in the rear of a laguna estate in the alps. As there was only two of us We dropped the rear seats, put in a double air mattress and inflated it in place. When we stopped, we chucked the luggage on the front seats. And had bbq out the back under the tail gate and a few beers, and a great nights sleep. Estates are great, and I miss owing one now I have a Coupe. The Coupe wad a good idea at the time. But it does drive well.

Funny, it looks better and more modern than the current, newest version of the XF.

Funny this gets published a year after they actually stopped making them. I love my XF, it's a great big family car while looking fantastic. I make no illusions of it, the infotainment isn't up there with Mercedes but who cares... I've got a Jaguar. :)

I wish estates/wagons were more popular in the US.

Whilst not particularly comprehensive, this short piece does high-light just how cool big premium estates can be.Audi have always made lovely estates (avants) even when, 20 years ago, some estates looked grim. Jag have done a lovely job. Would not a version of premium estates with two occasional seats that disappeared into the floor be feasible? With their length, they could compete with SUVs. They could be more economical and prettier. They used to do these but they would be even better now.

I love the estate/wagon, and I love the fact that it is coming to the US market. however, I think it is a bad move that the starting price is $70K. They should offer an entry level engine at a more accessible price.

can I just say Bravo Jaguar all your cars to me personally are very pretty we just take a quick Glimpse back and let's say 2002 with all the cars that they had we're just Dowdy and reliability was basically equal to their looks and I just think that they finally found a look that is just incredible finally modern but yet elegant and I I know there are a lot of young people who are buying this Bravo I love the cars

Why do Americans hate wagon versions of sedans. It's nice we get the wagon MB E-Class but a wagon 5 Series or even a wagon Ford Fusion would be awesome for those needing practicality without driving a crossover. A diesel engine would be nice, too as long VW doesn't supply them.

I thought a wagon (in the US) is called a shooting brake in Europe. First time I've heard the term Sport Brake.

I wish estates were an option in the Indian market....sadly it never has been....leaving the Skoda nobody bothered to bring estates and even skoda stopped selling those in 2007 in the Indian markets which really disappoints me

A shame that this Jag wasn't successful enough. Its successors are good but they ain't selling. Now, Jaguar motors got rid of the XJ flagship too. That's horrible.

That XF Saloon Was Actually An XE S Instead

TF are they talking about? The saloon looks way better than that estate. The front is absolutely not fitting to the rest of the car

I don´t care about horsepower, lap times or performance, but for me biggest problem with this car is the looks, it doesn´t look anything like Jaguar, for me the 90´s XJ is the definition of Jaguar, and I even liked the S-type.

Interior is kinda drab

for a car that looks so great from the outside the interior is so dull .

Looks like a Porsche Cayenne and a Volvo XC90 had a baby.

Pretty useless review, unless you and your mates want to drive around a test track. Nothing about what features it has and real world driving. Bring back the "original" Top Gear please🙏.
