Once again that was a brilliant video mate. That’s three times now. You’ve saved me so much money. I almost feel like I should send you a cheque lol, Thank you. Perfect solution. My GPS is good as gold.
Great alternative to removing the spoiler where the original gps antenna is located I believe. There is a product called Sugru which is a rubber like putty that sets and stays rubbery which would help rather than leaving the bare metal of the gps connector showing, also great for many uses and comes in many different colours.. Keep the content coming..
Paul just another thank you for all your tutorials. Unfortunately I wanted to share where to get the antenna and adaptor from … For your info I also purchased the 2020 DVD for our Satnav’s …. It loaded straight away without a prob … just remember to have the engine on … for info my Jag is the XK 150 4.2 on a 56 plate (Manufacture Year 2007) but as indicated above the auto delete removed all the info … very frustrating.
They are but mine keeps falling asleep well even with new parts.. The expanding toggle just doesn't seem to work... Ideas please... keep up the good work 👍
All my posts have now been removed. A cheap adapter costs £10 which will connect your antenna to the DVD unit but I cannot mention anything about the adapter as my comment is instantly banned. Richard
Likewise. Comments removed. Had a suggestion for a completely different option as an interface without changing anything visually. Keeping it looking factory. But it keeps getting removed. 🤔
@Shane Killingback must be something to do with setting on video. Did you try to post an external link? If so that would be the reason it gets removed by youtube
@@life_on_cars I believe that the setting to not allow external links, or to prohibit certain links, is applied by the content creator. You do get a warning when you click on an external link in a comment that you are being taken to an external website which you have to OK, but the links work properly. Most of the channels I subscribe to allow external links so I think you need to look through your settings.
