QB Gardner Minshew finished with a career high in passing yardage with 374 yards on 26 completions along with two touchdowns. The Panthers came into the game allowing only 181 yards per game through the air.

Those were extremely terrible last few "Hail Mary" plays- they were close enough to run real plays- no reason to just run around and chuck it up. Especially on the last play, where Carolina's defenders were all lined up in the endzone- could have dumped it short to a WR and had him run with a full head of steam toward the endzone with blockers

as a jags fan this was one of the best football games we have played in forever even though we lost. this is the type of game we always used to watch on tnf and mnf but never get. finally have a good offense and a qb that always has us in the game. obviously some stupid blunders here and there and the run defense was atrocious but i still have a good feeling about the team. gg to mccafrey also, we may have missed some easy tackles but god is he a beast
