Jah Shaka playing an Indica Dubs & Danman dubplate special at Dub Camp Festival 2018. Big respect to the King Of Dub, Jah Shaka! 👑🔊🔥. Video: Roots Revival. Voiced by Danman, produced by Indica Dubs, mixed by Echo Vault.
RIP Shaka. This adds to my list of regrets… not seeing you live. Only this week me and my cousin were saying we must go to one of your events. I wonder if this track was ever released.
My brother, dont want to rub you the wrong way. I say him perform for 12 hours straight in some squatted building in Amsterdam 8 years ago. It was the best dance ive ever been to. Foundational artist and performer. Im sorry you didnt get a chance to see the man perform :(
Yes Shaka is still number 1 but I remember the days of the Rocket, powerhouse, Tudor rose, Southall community and the last ever 4aces in Dalston...these were real heavy sessions where Shaka would drop deadly 4am selection dubs. Those were the good old days and I know of someone who had Shaka audio recordings from the 70s & 80s. Shaka number 1
@@DeeJay003 well said....Shaka sound, his humbleness and roots music has certainly kept me conscious and strong willed. There's nothing more relaxing than playing a killer piece of vinyl and hearing the real message of righteousness. Look at how music of nowdays has mashed up the youth! Music nowdays is just about how to kill off the next man or singing bout how a gyal has left a man! TE Track's original cut of "isn't it time to see" version without the melodica has a real deep message, plus the flip "tubbys special" is mind blowing!
@@rickysingh8124 Yes absolute truth. Changed my life and I'm sure many others. Shaka sound system was and is something special. God bless Shaka and what he has brought to the people. Nice one Ricky. Peace.
He to me is the dub gorgon ,what he does comes naturally to him ,he’s perfect in what he does and believes,he has my full respect people come and go but he ,well he’s always been there,,he is a warrior,,jah love
You think that’s a tune, dub plate guys you have not a clue what this man has he’s done 12 hours sessions just dubplates all night , guys he him self forgets what he has , he was dangerous in the end 80s and 90s guys believe me first hand the times I seen him in session omg you have to be there to see ,this is spiritual,no sound has that only one that’s Shaka ,people who know ,he used to run a dub plate ,hail him jah warrior ,he’s played that dub plate first against a sound who thought they were good ,by 4 in the morning that sound had packed up and gone ,I can’t say the name but I have that session on tape ,any way guys he’s my man I have hands up respect for the warrior,,jah love
Ty so much ,to say the truth roots is a massive part of my life ,but since Shaka was needed in someone else’s hands more I’ve tried not to look to much cos it hurts ,but when I do I drink and love and watch, you know in 20 years I never once spoke to him but I’m happy this way ,,he knew I was all ways in the same spot, recording until it was stopped ,any way ty so much to reply to me ,it makes me happy ,jah, jah bless always
lol I guess you never been to dub cup dance when Stereograph and Coxsone beat up Shaka hard. And Coxsone won the dance when they drew the 5-man army dub which ripped the dance
