Astonishing song, the opening track to the equally remarkable Arabesque Zoudge album. There were three in total, but this far and away was the best one. Natacha Atlas steals the show (again)
Great song. I saw Wooble in 1985 at Madame Wong West. I was floored by his band. He has one album that is really great called Jah Wooble's Invaders of the Heart, "Take me to God". I highly recommend it...highly! Yah I know Proops hates... so be it. BTW Greg's 'Smartest man in the world' is the best Podcast out there.
Thanks for posting. Greg Proops uses this for the intro & outro of his "Smartest Man in the World" podcast & I've been seeeaaaarching for it! Gorgeous.
Always loved this. Jah Wobble & Natacha Atlas made some great music together. "Soledad" is brilliant. "Yalili Ya Aini." Someone please give me the exact translation. Google translator reads: "Oh my, my eyes." Is that even close? Thank you (-:
Prooptastic. I emailed Greg to enquire what tune was used for the podcast intro and he replied within a day. "Don't look back, something might be gaining on you" (Paige, Leroy "Satchel")
I enjoy the new theme song to the Smartest Man in the World, but it's still not as awesome as this ...or a vodka flavored vodka drink imbibed in front of cardboard cat.
