What a unique and superlative composition.. Every Antara starts on very high note, almost at the point where others would take crescendo or end their Antara. And then the subsequent lines in Antara keeps going down till it almost touch kharaj or lowest point for singer. It is almost as if composer conceptualized Antara back ward. Amazing singing skills were needed to attempt this song and who better than lata ji.

Kya yehi pyar hai 1st sung by Ashaji in bengali "Eki Bhalobasha" 3. Mile jhoom ke milan root aayi 1st sung in bengali by Ashaji "Bashi sune ki ghore thaka jaay" 4. Jaane kya baat hai 1st sung by Ashaji in bengali "Chokhe naame bristi ". And losts more .......... So your opinion is totally wrong that only Lataji can sing this song, no one else... Ashaji is the most versatile female singer ever till date & Ashaji sung these songs before lataji. So first do listen Ashaji well. Ibu Lata mangeshkar memiliki suara yg kuat dg ciri khas beliau mbawakan lagu sesuai karakter aktris dan sesuai cerita film. ,begitu sempurna lirik oleh BPK gulzar , musik oleh tuan Rd Burman , sungguh perpaduan luar biasa ,nada tinggi suara ibu Lata mangeshkar bikin hati dan jantung berdebar hingga mata berkaca kaca luar biasa

I cann't fathom out who wouldn't like this song and the place kashmir?
