Aluminum Boat - Aluminum boat build update October 2018. Hull rib completion. Added 2 foot to stern to make boat overall length 34'. Length with motor mount is 36 foot and then 3 feet more with engines for total 39 feet long overall. 34' boat is on the rotisserie so to turn and work on easier. Aluminum Boat - Boat Build -

Its amazing that nothing bends when you have the boat on the rotisserie pieces. Looks like the back end is supported by only a few small plates. Maybe I'll build some for my boat project and save myself some hassle.

Hi Noah I was a hard sell on the idea at first-Do It you'll love it. Make sure all bracing is getting tacked well but the honeycomb effect proves to be quite structural for integrity. I would do it again. Be Safe

Will Jahrig thanks for the response I love your channel! I grew up in Alaska. The boat I’m planning on building is nowhere close to the scale of yours, only about 17’ or so. But definitely would be handy to rotate it for welding in those weird angles.

Will Jahrig definitely! I have never build one before but I am on a mission to weld one. I recently sold my last boat to fund this project. Hopefully going to order my materials soon.
