"Jai ho" (Hindi: जय हो), also transliterated "Jaya ho", is a Hindi phrase which can be roughly translated as "Let [the] victory prevail", "Let there be victory", or "May there be victory". When used as a title, the phrase may refer to:
How neat, a coed prison. They can really dance! I really enjoy watching them. Would like to see them in person. Can believe how everyone gets along and how the new warden has shown goodwill towards the men and women there. Love and Blessing to them all.
Galing nyong sumayaw, lahat kayo! Bilib jod ko sa production, choreography and the dancers themselves. I'm your fan, been watching you for hours now, it's magic!

wowww....just look at what music can do?? it not only binds itself to language and is not only universal but it can help the prison inmates to stay positive, prevents violence, and gives them recreation too!! so amazing the power of music is!! loved their dance and thanks so much for the share. if it helps ppl to think positive n spread love for humanity's sake, then so be it :) I am all for it :)
Great, Amazing, Wonderful performance & brilliant idea. Hats off to the inmates and the controlers. being a PSYCHIATRIST - I say music cleans heart & soul, it brings people close. KEEP IT UP !
For crying out, Did all the good dance genes land in the Philippines? This is incredible, I think what Byron has done with these men is incredible. I think it's a protocol that could be adapted into high schools to combat bullying. Music is a unifying language.
Glad to see the joy on the faces of the inmates enjoying dance on this wonderful Hindi song. If the Hindi lyrics by poet Gulzar is really understood then it gives a great pleasure. A magnificent Blend by A R Rehman gave the song a new hight. Hats off to Gulzar, Rehman & the inmates.
Go, CDIs go!!! We are proud of you all!!! who unite to make a creative performance which cultivates confidence and wholesome entertainment for all of us, proud to be a Filipino!!!
I think this was a fantastic idea! I am impressed that such a large dance crew can stay in such good sync with each other. And it is a refreshing idea that they are using their jail time constructively. ;-) Excellent job guys and gals!! :-)
i dont know but everytime i watched their videos, i cant help myself but cry.. maybe because i am thinking that despite them being in jail not with their families, they are able to enjoy life and have a great time..unlike others who see their families almost everyday but they are just not that happy as them.. i guess im one of those "OTHERS"..im saddened
This is so Legit! and Good! Dancing is an Amazing Recreation, Distraction and can ultimately in some sense be a rejuvenation of the Soul if you can get really into it. Love it! Good Job!!!
kakatuwa naman cla...sana merun din ganyan sa manila... mas my discipline tlga cla sa cebu at nkaka proud..keep it up!! sana my mga bago pa cla masayaw....Godbless!!
good work guys and to mr. byron garcia congratulation sir for giving them the chance to prove that they can make there family proud even that they are in prison hope that all the prison headquarters heads in the philippines follow ur steps......
Wow, i am so waiting for them to make a movie about this. How it got started, who's idea it was, and about inmates who have been effected by this in a positive way.
It's very touching. The prisoners letting their souls fly for a little while. No one should ever be in prison unless they are a physical danger to others. There is s better way to help people rehabilitate Meanwhile, there is this inspiring dance.
I N D E E D! I N D E E D! THE FABULOUS DANCERS OF SIR BYRON GARCIA. SHAKE THEM BONES!! LOVE FROM THE BEAUTIFUL DEEP BLUE PACIFIC OCEAN OF SAIPAN IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE NORTHERN MARIANAS ISLANDS.
i don't know what to say, it just..my tears can't stop dropping down, love them all. they are so great, all of them, even though they....are in prison.
THIS IS MAGNIFICENT AND A HOMAGE TO THE ORIGINAL. PERFDRMED IN THE NATIVE LANGUAGE AND EXACTLY AS INTENDED, ALL THATS MISSING IS THE UNBELIEVABLY COOL DEV PATEL. GO SEE CHAPPIE. HE IS REALLY GREAT
the thing i like about this is that the prisoners actually look like they are enjoying themselves. And i'm sure prison violence is down and they are better behaved concentrating more on dancing. It's awesome!
@NetDots I'd rather pass my days happily. I can see that dancing can give these people a lot of opportunities to communicate and learn valuable teamwork. It helps them adjust.
DIVINO ! Isto é DEUS agindo através dos Homens de bem ! Parabéns à todos os envolvidos na idéia, apóio e execução e claro e principalmente aos presos que devem estar com a auto-estima recuperada e felizes ! LINDO DEMAIS ! EMOCIONANTE ! COMOVENTE ! E ESPERANÇOSO !
Wow!In this video you will see how talented the filipino people are.I just hope that if this people who are in prison right now once they are out they would continue this talent that they learned inside the jail.
