Ajibike Adeyemo-Akinwande i am not an indian as well, no ethnicity either, not even a drop of indian blood on my vein! but im so into this indian culture and places and movies even if i dont understand the language.. i even memorize some indian songs! lol i will make sure to step my foot in India in this lifetime.
+Rhapsody Ice i'm also afghan and i don't understand the language but i love this song and almost all of the indian songs ... i should watch the movie of this song also !!! caz seems to be really sad that some people commented below that they listen to this song and cry !!!
+Rhapsody Ice Amazing song but amazing fact is that it was get rejected for another movie for which it was made after that it was added to slumdog millionaire . lol
This was a very memorable theater moment. The movie ended, spirits seemed positive enough, but then the credits began to roll to this song, along with the leads dancing in the train station, and it sort of ascended that initial reaction into something even grander. People were floored. I recall the guy next to me began crying into his sleeve during the second chorus. I believe that's what they refer to as 'movie magic'.
I am australian and although i don't understand the indian language now listening to the whole song rather than the comercial one we get here i truly have fallen for how soft and flowing the words are truly lovely my indian friends
I promised to my 10 year old daughter to visit India someday, she is love with India and your colours, music, beauty of your women, jewelry and me too...
I am not Indian but I love this movie because it holds so much memories and opened me about India and her culture. Now as a young adult, I cherish these memories. Love from Mexico. ♡
+amir lavie : mr amir lavie frist off thank's u like indian singger and u should listen to lata mangeshkar and kishore kumar songs wellcome to indian music ... sir
This is the way why I explore other countries' music genre when I was in high school. Slumdog Millionaire musical scoring is a masterpiece. A.R. Rahman and crew are superb.
@@saurabhmishra2363 bro first he played this song in Russia then in lithunia then in England. And he fully enjoyed this song all three places that's why he mentioned three name 😂..
This makes happiness bloom in me that whatever politics may be happening between both countries, both Indian and Pakistani citizens see each other as family.
What I found after read a lots of comments, that it's A.R. Rahman who tied up everyone from all over the world with his magical music. Salute to A.R. Rahman Sir. Lot's of love from india too ❤️
when I am tired of everything and want to finally give up, this song serves as a last resort to me. It can inspire, it can stir you up it's not simply a song it's more than anything! Jai ho!
I'm from Mumbai, India. I don't live there anymore, but some of the scene shots bring back memories. Particularly 3:18-3:30. I used to travel using local trains and would get off at 5:15pm heading back home from college. The scene is such an accurate depiction of the evening rush hour.
I don't think it matter where u are from. This tune just makes the corners of your mouth turn up, you smile then you start swinging your hips.... It just is... Bloody Good Fun!
When you need to make an spirit rising song, Sukhwinder ji is the man. Have been listened to him since those days of Chaiya Chaiya. Salaam from Malaysia.
It gives me goosebumps and tears of joy to see how greatly my nation, her culture and compositions are loved globally. Cheers to all my global fellas, lots of love
+Abhishek Tanwar Good job Im a strong and resilient person then. And there's nothing wrong with having a dream. Dreams become thoughts and thoughts become actions. Maybe you need to dream more :-)

I'm beginning to understand what you mean. My feeling is that it's really like studying the history of about 10 different countries at once stretching back 3000 years. My book is 534 pages long which is far too little space to cover it very well. Still, the flow of information from it is very, very heavy.
Geez!!! It’s been 15 years since this movie’s release? What a nostalgia moment for us in the 90s childhood to listen to the legendary AR Rahman and his voice of Jai Ho! ❤
Pramod chowdary simhadri I'm proud of my country but i'm a Tamil first before an INDIAN. I proud of the fact that a tamillan went places where most of us can only dream of. Sorry if it offences you :)
Ruben BFM just forget that i asked....india is never gonna change with ll these south north, aryan dravidian ,caste creed racial ideologies... india will be a developing country forever
N Rai What a sec! Does it say that Tamil people should only speak/sing in Tamil only?? Hindi is a language just like English, France and others! There is no restriction to be able to communicate btw :)
As an Indian🇮🇳 ,I feel very proud to be born in India whenever I listen this masterpiece of A R rehman. I listen this even when I feel tired in my physical workout, It gives me immense motivation and energy.
