8:00 I started swimming at 2 years old lol My godmother was teaching me how to dive. She told me to wait at the side and watch her how she does it. When she came up again i was gone. Apparently i dove the minute she did and swam to her side lmao. I was too excited
WOW 2 years old??? OMG!!! Did you ever do swimming competitions? All I learned how to do was pretend I was a mermaid and swim underwater. Thank you swimming lessons😂 - Lin
@@LinandDes Haha unfortunately not, i didnt want it to be more than a hobby to me, i enjoyed swimming too much for it to turn into a sport for me, with all the rules and things. I liked just chilling in the water and doing my own thing. I was anyways doing karate and piano at the time aswell as netball so i was booked and didnt want more pressure on me. And i could never properly learn how to be a mermaid XD sad
My earliest memory about swimming pool was when I was 4, I accidentally fell in a six feet deep pool. My dad said to me that he was perplexed because normally people would panic when drowning. But I was just so still and calm underwater. He save me eventually and I got to live. After that whenever we go to swim, he would tried to drown me for some reason.
"That's when I went to swimming lessons" So it's weird that I swam in a pool and didn't know how to swim which ended up in me almost drowning and passing out from shock?.. I have self-taught myself to swim... I'm proud :)
😂😂😂 I just remembered when I jumped in a pool with a life raft (the circle I don’t think that what’s it’s called).......anyways I thought I would float but because it’s meant to keep you above the water ,I went straight through the hole and went under and if it was for my uncle I wouldn’t be here
For the S R and W it’s a common issue with kids to get. Sat in for a zoom meeting speech pathology class as a paraprofessional and I can confirm that it is in fact a simple as tongue placement and if you’re German rolling the tongue in certain words makes English easier. Spainish is a different story when you have only spainish speaking family and trying to speak English. It’s something knew I learned while just sitting in the room and making sure the kids didn’t accidentally log out of the meeting.
Me with Pool Filter: unlocked fear of that long before I knew what IT was. I’m not trying to be funny but had I known of that in closed spaces sewer killer clown as a kid…and compared a sewer opening to a pool filter…yeahhhhhhhhh I doubt I’d be able to swim. So glad my only horror phase was reading Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark Series. Scared the shit out of my brother as a child…regrets it immediately afterwards for three days of my little brother sleeping in my room with but…heh 😅
When the mat Went on top of her he reminded me of when I went swimming with my sisters And I went underwater And then The dog jumped into the pool and swam on top of me And that dog was heavy and I didn't know what to do I was Panicking too much that just got saved by my friends uncle cause I also went there with my friend And I couldn't stand up Not even My mom could and she's tall like very tall
I never got swim lessons. My dad just threw me in the water (beach and pool deep end) and said swim good thing he was a trained swimmer cause after he saw me almost drowning, he taught me. Always thing about this memory when I watch this video from jaiden.
I know you have many requests to react to things, but I highly recommend watching animation vs minecraft: note blocks since you already watched note block battle. the bass line I believe blue played in the video that I think Dwane commented on is actually a reference to the original note blocks video
Ok so once when we set up our pool in summer I put my feet into a small floatie and I was hanging on to the wall and as the idiot I was I let go and I kinda got stuck...underwater but I was able to scramble my way out so I was fine
I have a similar swimming story. So we were at a family friend's house and they had a pool. We went swimming and we were... leaving? about to eat? idk, but my mom was taking off my floaties. Once she was done I guess she turned away and tiny toddlerish me decided I wasn't done swimming, so my mom who can't swim well, turned around to find her child jumping into the pool without her floaties for the first time. Understandably she panicked, but I was having a grad old time swimming around because I was fine. I guess I had gone swimming enough with my floaties to understand what movements I needed to do to swim around so I just knew how to swim.
