@@mallowspriscilla8625 Apart from Macmillan books you can take advantage of various videos available on you tube some of them are really helpful...Focus on conceptual clarity this is the most imp. thing for IIBF examinations...IIBF offer some mock tests as well which will give you clear idea about actual examination

Sir 7th and 9th question are same I think how to differentiate annuity due and ordinary due? Pls clarify it sir and also you have replied before, for end of the payment, ordinary annuity should calculate, for beginning of the period annuity should calculate.... But in the question there is nothing about that

Sir in ques 17 difference between owing from X and owing to z ??.in ques 16 cost of goods sold will have an income but it's mentioned in debit side..??

Pls Note COGS is an Expense and not an Income. I think you are getting confused with Sales and COGS. Owing from means - Company is yet to receive some payment from some party Owing to - This company has some pending payments which it needs to pay to Z Ltd. Just think Practically regarding each entry ! , this way its easier to bifurcate.

Since we are following FIFO, that means first in first out. Now when 32 units are sold, then first 15 units of mar 1 will go, then 32-15= 17 units of mar 4 will go. So rest 13 units will be divided as follows- 3 units will go on mar 4 10 on mar 6

Just remember this rule - The payments in an ordinary annuity occur at the end of each period. In contrast, an annuity due features payments occurring at the beginning of each period. Now re-read the question statements.

It will come to the asset side - as this amount will be received in near future and thus its basically an asset rather than liability. This would have been a liability if it was "owing to Mr. X".

Hi Karunya, I currently provide Question Banks only ( with Cheat Sheet of Legal) to my students as i believe practice only makes us clear JAIIB and CAIIB exam. The Question Banks are very exhaustive and covers the syllabus of JAIIB . The accounting Question Bank too contains deep explanations which will help you in how to approach with the problem solving
