When its jailbreaking for the second time it gives me and error saying "please restart your Device and try again" but it doesn't do anything when i try to restart? update: i was able to restart the phone and do the second jailbreak but now i my phone is stuck on a bootloop saying "jbinit: mount rootfs /dev/disk1s8 failed with err=2" i cannot get out of this screen update2: i waited for the phone to die then i tried using palera1n on mac with the command "palera1n -l" and i now have a jailbroken unrooted iphone 8 ! thank you for your guide as it still helped alot with withe first part and instalation of zebra,sileo and cydia! :)
I have put it in recovery mode, but the device is stuck in recovery mode and cannot be restored, and I cannot switch to DFU mode. I updated the device via iTunes until I was able to fix it. Do you advise me to try the method again or not, because there is a possibility that the same problem will appear with the device? For the latest update, I have to wait for the 16.7.9 update 😂
No no it's perfectly safe to try it on. In recovery mode or DFU you don't have to restore fresh when you fail at jailbreaking, just reset and you are good to go... If you want to try again. , go on. No issues. If winra1n won't work for you can use use palen1x....
One question, does the iPhone 8 + perform better in a jailbroken state compared to the regular iPhone 8? I can understand this being a very wide open question xD, but I just wanted to ask, cause I'm looking foward to buy either one of those Phones for Jailbreaking purposes. iphone x, rootful on 16.5.10, often times when I respring it will hang on the spinning logo or black screen and i have to hard reset and re-jailbreak. this happened on 16.5.6 also. Any fixes?

You can 100% sign in and it is safe. Don't worry. But just be mindful of installing trusted tweaks (popular ones ) from popular sources and you should be fine.
You can... It does work but it's better to match versions (16.7.8 backup to 16.7.8) apple is now fond of messing up backups or not allowing of the version isn't matching.

Worked for me using iPhone X on 16.7.8 just wish i could use face id and passcode and Cydia is weird and won't "return to cydia" plus it will not respring from cydia? So i can't install tweaks that require me to respring?
Great that it worked for you. You can set a passcode using fakepass. N to respring for Cydia you can use the respring function from palera1n loader... Press n hold n respring. Showed it on video too
What would happen if I have IPhone X and set a passcode before and did winra1n without backup and earsing data, is there a possibility it succeed or it'll stuck between the process?
sir, I jailbroke my iphone X ios16.4.1 thanks to your video. unfortunately, i upgraded to ios 16.7.8 by accident while the jailbroken. Now, every time I tried to use winra1n 2.1, it wouldn't let me pass the DFU mode and jumped right back to the begining screen. is there a way to make this work? thank you so much!
so this method works but getting it into DFU mode after creating a fakefs is nearly imbossible been tring for hours and hours using all of my usb slots and i am using usb a to lightning cable for my ipad pro 12.9 first gen what can i try to get it into dfu mode to put sileo and cydia on there
I had this happen to me after trying "rejailbreak" though and I don't know if that's what made it work but I clicked the "Fix Driver" button and the next time it worked for me

i started by selecting rootful mode and selecting in the options FakeFS and started the jailbreak. But the boot should last about 10 minutes for the fakefs to download but for me it lasted couple second and no fakefs are downloaded HELP ME!!!
Hey man I have an iphone X (GSM) IOS 16.7.8 and I've tried everything but nothing works. I can't get passed the first step to simply create the fakers. Always says restart and try again and ive tried every possible solution. Please help
It is 100% because you set a passcode... And if you now remove it, please erase all content and settings then jailbreak. It will then work. Or else it will panic

@@BurhanRana Alright thanks for the info. Lastly, I had to reboot my device and lost the jailbreak and after re-jailbreaking it, I'm now unable to download any tweak. When I try to do so, I get the error "APT was unable to find this package bla bla bla" and "E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages". Would you know how to fix this? Thank you
@@BurhanRana i know it took forever its so hard to get it into dfu mode i was able to do took hours but i decided to start from scratch because i ran into some issues i think its because i had cowabunga on it a while back and when i downloaded bioprotect xs it was giving me problems working soething to do with certain libraries not downloaded on the springboard so i restored started from scratch about to give it another try.. thanks 4 the reply back
@@kayone8571 my dear... Palera1n won't work. Any other app based jailbreak like DOPMAINE will work.... You can downgrade to 16.6 or 16.6.1 if you have blobs and use DOPMAINE jailbreak with passcode.

@@abracadabra5628 please do as I did in the video .. First time: create fakefs+ select rootful Next time: only select Rootful (don't select create fakefs this time) Also make sure no passcode is set and if it was set but removed ... Then you have to factory reset the device and then jailbreak
@@ivanmore4345 no you can never put a passcode while jailbroken with this jailbreak. If you put, device Panic n jailbreak is lost... Plus to rejailbreak, you have to remove the passcode then erase all content and settings then rejailbreak. If you never put a passcode but you only rebooted, you can rejailbreak easily with winra1n without issues .
