I watched Richie build his 80..It will be interesting to watch his new build..He knows what he likes. It's what I like about him. He's honest about what works & what doesn't.. He reviews the products he uses without sounding like a fricken commercial. ❤️
He "Richiefyed It" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Love that comment. Found you thru Richie's channel where he did the walk around on your right hand drive Yota. Iam a jeeper but love the Yota's. Looks like ya got a new subscriber here. ✌😎
As soon as I seen this rig, I knew it was going to have a Magnuson supercharger under the hood lol. My 2019 TRD Off Road also has the Magnuson ss, since back when they were new for 5th gens, and it remains my favorite mod! I have a 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium (with the amazing KDSS), Magnuson supercharger, King Shocks (that are aging lol), a Victory 4x4 Blitz front Slim winch Bumper with Warn Winch (everyone calls it a stealth winch bumper), ARB Snorkel, just switched from KO2s to KM3 M/Ts (I love these tires).... My brother is currently installing light bars and a new roof rack (he co-owns a shop that customizes/restores Toyota/Lexus 4x4s, in Vancouver). I have a dual battery and inverter setup, but nothing like this guy's build lol. I went out and bought a lithium ion battery generator, (a shamefully expensive one lol), and it changed my power needs 110%. It is meant to be able to power home appliances like a fridge etc all night, plus charging stuff at the same time, so I use it for overnight stuffs, like using my laptop and all my USB lights and 2 fans, plus charging my phone at night, so it is pretty awesome addition for more power lol. I can use it to cook and make coffee too, so i'm not running the vehicle a as much as before, and NEVER worried about battery levels, at night. You can get cheaper portable ones for a few hundred, but you get what you pay for. I spent a lot lol
@@CruisingTheLand Well, it would be great for bugging out lol. The build is definitely focused on being able to stay out as long as a possible. I don't use an RT tent so have tons more storage on the roof too. I love being in a remote location for a week or 2, with friends, or solo!
I was watching Dayz and giving props to you and hadn't been on jailbreak in a long time. Just incredible what you have done Richie, and in your driveway!! May the rest of your journey be "I did it my way", and see you upstairs one day. Blessed to have followed you almost from day one. Rarely, comment so there's that 😂😘
Amazing build, can’t wait to see this on trail. Richie knows what he’s doing. It’s hilarious to see his posts on the 4Runner forum inquiring about dual cases and fitting 37’s, every other thread talking about 33’s and led headlights lol
Gotta admit- I was sad to see Richies Green Monster go- inspired me to build mine. But this runner has all the positives the 80 had and none of the negatives and can most certainly is more manageable on the highways. Glad to have discovered this channel!
Hey Austin! Yes it's a beast and built. There are trade offs, for sure 4runner better for long distance comfort, but on the rocks, there's a point where the 80 separates itself from the pack.. Don't worry though! This is a Land Cruiser Channel. Check out my 3 80s in a video on my channel recently... the Triplettes (2 FZJs and a HDJ Diesel) and... Land Cruiser Podcast starts this week! Subscribe to it if you love LCs
Very Nice build & Richie has lots of skill having designed and actually built it on his own - Props Son... How much does the rig weight (all in - trip ready - full water/gas/food/people) Seat of the pants - I'm guessing 7,000lbs???
I had no idea u switched up from the LandCruiser to a FourRunner & man it’s BA! I’m fixing to trade my Camry in for a Tundra, I’ve damn near got it paid off so by spring early summer I’ll be trading it in on a Tacoma 🤜🤛. Listening for suggestions for a good base model to start with & fix up 👍
As much as I love your videos, a word of advice, look it up and your followers. Effective October 28, 2022, the National Park Service rescinded interim guidance that was in place during litigation regarding commercial filming and has returned to longstanding laws and regulations governing commercial filming in parks. Look it up online because when you make a buck on here they’re going to regulate you. Also, look up. FAA part 107 drone commercial license.
I left that decision in the hands of someone who at the time I thought was an expert. is what it is. Im good with it because theres only so much ACTUAL travel you get.
Richie actually did a walk around of the 70 series Land Cruiser, and I did a walk around of SandyCat's White wrapped 4Runner in .. Both those will be posted within the week. Thr 70 will be on JailBreak's YT channel. Also the 73 is on my YT here, search : Best Landcruiser to never make it to US.
How do you afford to just out the gate drop multiple thousands of dollars into your vehicles? I mean it seems your always on the road and not working. Did you retire after making millions, inheritance, trust fund or lottery winner? I’m not hating on ya, just very curious. And I’ve seen your newest build after this vehicle! What’s the secret?
