Dude... Jailbreaking does not mean sideloading. When we talk about jailbreaking we're talking about actual software hacking, bios stripping, and full on hardware access to memory to throw in another OS all together. It usually involves hooking up the device to a pc and cracking as much of it as possible. Its all chipsets dude...its all chipsets.

Can you do this on a Onn Roku Tv or just Roku stick? Or both? What is the risk? Most of the apps I use are already on my Onn Roku TV. my Roku stick was given to me by someone else and it’s so old that’s why I was wondering if I could update that and just leave my TV alone

So this is a pretty misleading title. Developer mode and Sideloading apps that are MADE for roku isnt jailbreaking. What youre doing is adding apps that didnt make the cut for the store or were removed. This is absolutely not a jailbreak but im pretty sure you know this and intentionally are being misleading.

My Menu on my Roku looks different then yours, going up it's Home setting search, sports then streaming stores. I haven't touched anything, this is the way the TV came. Every time I touch the home it goes to another Menu.....Help please

Except if your iPhone is iOS 17.4 and the region is set to any EU country and the devices have to be physically in the region including your Apple TV device and make sure it has TV OS 17.4.

I hit on my Roku TV to send me a link to my email but it would not send it. I hit it multiple times I'm sure the government is behind it. 06-04-24@6:08pm add on the reason why I'm doing this because I'm trying to pay for something with my PayPal on my Roku but it will not allow me. yes you can, you should be able to stream your display onto the tv via wifi. just check your display options and it should show your tv as a wireless connection if on the same wifi network

There was a time when Fire TV devices didn't have all of the main streaming services, in the UK at least - I think it was Now TV which is quite popular in the UK that it didn't have if I remember correctly. It's why I got one a while ago. The basic models were also often cheaper than Amazon devices, think I got mine for £20. Also, not everybody is into sideloading apps, and some people have an ethical objection to Amazon as a company.

I got mine for like under 10 euros, sucks that sideloading doesn't work but honestly I mostly watch yt anyway and I had an older TV so it does its job, and i find them quite responsive compared to fire tv sticks, and the remote feels nicer too

Roku is a really great device, but I live in Australia and a number of local channels and streaming services are not supported. It's impossible to get any info from Roku and other services to get them supported! Such a shame!
