Jaquez is a natural, the kind of person that understands that you let the feeling, the flow, flow through you. No game or opponent is too “big.” Can’t be taught but he gets it.
@@kandyfloss6bJordan Clarkson can easily win that. Y’all gotta stop being delusional. I love Triple J but they not giving him ROY nor 6 man of the year. Stop it
This kid reminds me of the kind of basketball i grew up with and loved. Post moves, ball handling, physical contact, and smarts. That's what made basketball great before they ruined the game with the bogus 3 point contest every night.
Miami has been really shaky in the 4th quarters, they have no point guard aside from Lowry. When Lowry is out sometimes they have Jaquez run point in the clutch just because he has one of the more secure handles on the team.
@@bladerunner12 That's true. Outside of Lowry, the only other PG they have is RJ Hampton, and he's not fully ready yet. So Jaquez or Herro is the one bringing the ball up the Court unless it's a fast break
@@rafaelmendoza4668I’m Mexican too and Latinos share our common Spanish ancestors Or do you think native Mexicans were 6’6 and white skinned like Jaquez? lol
It's the culture, bro. Once they leave Miami tho, the magic is gone. Example: In Miami, Tyler Johnson was a consistent 3 and D guy, J Winslow was a point forward, Gabe Vincent was the 2nd best player last season, and Josh Richardson drives to the basketand isos were phenomenal. Good thing JRich returned. He needs his groove back.
@@MikeLARRY-rp4mlnah I see him more of a butler. I see why people say Gino but Jamie more “natural” while manu more sneaky “crafty”. Also I think he’s pointing to be a starter instead of a six man
How did team scouts miss this guy!? He's a gem of a catch for Coach Spo! He's definitely getting more encouragement n' tutelage from Jimmy, Kyle, and K-Love!
for him to be this poised & providing instant impact, goes to show how elite the heat are as an organization. From scouting to developing, I'm proud to be a fan
Just a few of my favorite things: 1.)Love-Lowry-Jaquez ball movement, reminds me of 86 Celtics 2.) 2-handed JAMS! 3.) Graceful spin moves near the basket.
with that performance consistency, i can't believe he is still Rookie, it just like an All Star performance. Bright future for Miami Team on several years
He runs so hard 😮 I might be tripping but I see flashes of Bron and Jimmy in him but he still has his own play style… Can’t put a finger on it but he’s dope either way.
@@KingJerbear Bro honestly just bully balls the entire league with a cold ass face. I don't think that's Larry Bird soul though, if anyone really has Larry Bird soul on our team it's Tyler Herro because that mf never stops talking shit mid game while cooking people.
Them trash ass hornets 😂😂😂 he doesn't deserve a nomination for that he's no difference maker like Jamie is for miami he's filling in for our leader and best player and doing a damn great job as a rookie you don't get this type of production this early.
@@timfwaygo2537 Brandon miller been averaging bout 15-16 points and can knock down the 3 ball shooting over 40% from distance. He can also get hot and score 15 in a quarter. I do think Jaime Jaquez deserves it but I gotta disagree with you on Brandon not making an impact
@@MelogoatedfrUnderstand the situation, he’s doing all this with a Stacked Heat. Bam, Lowry, Herro, Butler and Robinson. There is little to no room for JJJ but he is getting it done. Who on the Hornets is killing it? Lamelo is injured, aside from Bridges? Of course Brandon Miller can go off any night.
@@Funnydaliano you got a point. That is exactly why Jaime is better. I know he is better I’m just saying as a hornets fan I’m disappointed Brandon didn’t win. I don’t want to be arguing about Brandon being better if it’s not true. Congrats to Jaime👏
The heat have done it again. Every time we think they’re about to decline, they find a new player who fits the culture perfectly and they don’t miss a beat.
pure facts but awards are based off popularity not wins, not impact to wins etc etc just who do people like more wemby and no matter what anyone does.. wemby is going to win it because the nba needs him to.. even if the heat win a championship and jaime is top 3 player on the heat they will still say he didnt have a better year than wemby and chet and they will say miami is a better team than okc so it doesnt count and find way to contradict themself and say miami is also better than the spurs but yet okc is is number 2 in the west.. spurs are dead last.. so they will say the east is weak or its not wemby fault he doesnt have chemistry with his team so we need to have sympathy or its not chet fault he doesnt get the ball like that because he plays with a superstar or something else along the lines
I know it's early but he's looking to be the best heat draft since dwade. They might just win a chip this season of they can maximize this kid's talent and use him well.
Dude's a rookie but plays like a seasoned vet. Miami's known for developing players but this dude seems so skilled already. The quintessential heat player. Glad he's on our team.
Heat is Lucky, those so called experts, scouts saw him at 18th....he..he...he.....this kid is a super star, IQ, foot works, ability are all there and he is only going to be better!
Team is so deep they can't even get Jamal Cain on the goddamn court that's crazy talk. Kid would be a breakout prodigy phenom for a lot of teams but they keep getting new ones like Jaime.
