Honestly Tuivasa was on his way to setting up a knock out until he hurt his toes kicking Rozenstruiks leg. Yes he was still eating jabs but his right hand was getting closer to landing clean and you could see he had Jairzinho cornered unti her threw that kick and hurt his toes. Afterwards he became hesitant and was getting pieced up.

Go look at the videos of all his career fights. He’s always been a big boy, but compare his earlier career fights when he was capable of winning to his last 3-5 fights. He’s an even bigger boy. He also has never bothered to refine his style and work on improving certain skills. He’s always just been a wild brawler looking to knock someone out and was willing to get knocked out in the process. Entertaining style, but when he’s not properly conditioning or eating right or bothering to actually improve his skills coupled with him continuing to put on weight as he gets older and slower and less athletic…. this is what you get. Derrick Lewis appeared to be on the same path, but the black beast looked like he was recommitted to rejuvenating his career in his last fight. I doubt Tai will get another contract with the UFC with the way he’s trending
