@@dinamiteurdinamiteur2324 I'll admit that it's definitely nothing like other Jak and Daxter games, though I do feel the quality is pretty similar compared to other games in the same genre (if that makes sense?) Like the original Trilogy's quality as platformer games is equally high as this is as a racing/combat racing type game. One huge thing I dislike though is Torn's outfit. It's so crappy compared to his PS2 design
I’m perfectly fine with this being the last time we ever got to see Jak and Daxter. Although I would’ve loved to see Jak take on crime bosses across the several different cities, maybe even in an open world style game. But sadly, if Naughty Dog ever wises up and touches this franchise again, they’ll likely reboot it and ruin it.
Same. a decade and a half ago I was really hoping that ND would wise up and try to reclaim the rights to the series but with where they are now, they wouldn't be able to give the series proper justice. The atmosphere and mindset that they were in during the time they made these games is long gone now and if they were to get it back, there's no doubt that like you said, they would butcher it. So it really is best left as a relic of its time because it had a good run all things considered.
I honestly loved the whole Jak series, the ones developed by Naughty Dog at least, but this game disappointed me. I still played it a ton, especially the split screen mode, but the open world of the other games was amazing. They gave me my first taste of open world games and I still gravitate towards open world games. I just replayed Jak 2 & 3 on my PS4 and now I'm trying out Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. Shout-out to Jak and Daxter for all the memories
@@mrphauker Some fans are also porting the original trilogy to PC and have the first game finished around 80%. They're even adding some quality of life features, so it's gonna be more enjoyable as a more modern experience.
It was an obvious step to make a racing game after we got introduced to the desert vehicles in Jak3. But it's weird, because every vehicle can fly in Jak II, same thing with Star Wars.. Why build any vehicles with wheels then..?
Oh, yeah. Tess was turned into an Ottsel which is a wish granted by the Precursors. She didn't appear in Jak X: Combat Racing but she did appear in the Hot Coffee cutscene where Daxter and Tess are having a hot cup of coffee.
Me too, I was the same way! When I first got this game, I couldn’t finish the game, it keeps on freezing and loading save screen it took forever to save and when the cutscene ended with Mizo and jak and daxter it froze
