Jakarta - Bandung new high speed train will start its commercial operation soon. It will take 45 minutes. Exact of date to be decided soon, in august 2023 (limited operation) or jan 2024 (full operation). To cross the road, in the absence of traffic light, you can just raise your hand, proceed carefully and watch out for traffic. They may slowdown or stopped to allow you to cross. Cheers

even though there is also a Luxury train called the Panoramic train, which has a glass roof and wide windows as if you were in an aquarium you could look up and to the side with a classic view, and the ticket prices are more or less the same as this train, try to find or ask the ticket clerk

Indonesian cities are not that walkable but that doesn't mean the roads are good for drivers. We still have a long way to improve anything related to city planning and as for regular citizens, we also have responsibility to make our cities better even if it's just cleaning our streets from trash

Bandung city is the capital city of West Java province, famous for its many factory outlets, cafes, culinary delights, restaurants, the famous Rumah Mode factory outlet, also Paris van Java, Cihampelas walk, and a comfortable restaurant Ambrogio Resto located on Jalan Banda

21:49 I think most 5 star hotels are far from "chip" stores. You should go to 3 star hotels. The convenience store will not be able to rent at the 5 star hotel area.

Bandung the only surrounding by vulcanos, You may go Lembang cold town in the nort Bandung visit tangkuban perahu and enjoy hot water in Ciater, it would be great breaking vista.

Try to visit Kawah Putih ( White crater ) its vast Sulfur Lake with blue green turqois color its amazing view, located around 25 km southern part of Bandung, and Ranca Upas, Ciwidey with vast greenery tea plantation, and Gunung Tangkuban Perahu, you can drive car till the edge if crater located around 20 km morthern part of Bandung city

Thanks for coming to my hometown, honestly I will accept how hard someone crosses the road, especially foreigners 😅, this is a tip for you and any foreigners who want or first time visiting every place in Indonesia. First, look around when you gonna pass round the road, and wait until there's a much gap between you and the other road user like motorcycles, and soon (probably 3/5 meters), after that just cross over the road with your bare hand move to the other road user came over. 🍻

Very nice train system! I think that's the nicest business class cabin that you've rode so far! But I can't remember if you've taken the train in Ho Chi Min City or in Manila. Maybe have to back track to do some comparison with public transportation in those cities.

33 USD? Oh wow! Why so cheap? Yeah I'll choose that same hotel like you do and I'll just sneak out to see the amenities of other hotels near it haha. I still cant believe its only 33 dollars. My goodness! Here in Manila Ibis Styles is quite pricey or maybe the ibis hotel there is ibis budget not the luxury ibis styles that i know because there's two types of it. More likely its ibis budget because it doesn't have much amenities. Here in Manila a standard room in ibis styles will cost you around 140+ US dollars.

Bandung? Please only go to South Bandung, instead of West. So many scam in West Bandung. South Bandung (Ciwidey, Pangalengan, White Crater etc) more pristine. Ps.
