Sometimes whenever i see your video, makes me feel you are more Indonesian then most of us, visiting museum and art Gallery is one of the reason, your appreciation to others people culture and Heritage, while unfortunately most of Indonesian people have loss their interest to their own culture, their often mostly choose go to the mall purchase foreign product, rather then visit museum or art galleries, to learn about history, i hope with your video, Indonesia people would increase their interest to learn more about their own heritage, and by the way.. Splendid video as usual, Ann! Nice walk to mangove, never had the chance to go there. Like, it's located in different part of Jakarta. So far away from my area especially if you don't have car or motorcycle :) Have you tried Indonesian restaurant like Lara Djonggrang, Seribu Rasa, Harum Manis, Nusa Indonesian Gastronomy, or even Sate Khas Senayan? Some examples for Indo restaurants that quite famous with foreigners (and match with their taste usually). Yeah we're hoping this pandemic be gone forever, but unfortunately the viruses keep mutating and now we have spike in number of cases again, so stay wary and be safe everyone! Hi Umar Abidin😊 Wow the restaurants you recommend are excellent! I immediately marked those 4 on my map! I’ll go to all of them! We would love to try local restaurants like this, but actually only a few times… ^^’ Sate Khas Senayan is available in many places, it’s always crowded when we want to eat haha (especially on holidays) Thank you all the time! 💛 Hope you stay healthy and have a great life!✨:)
@@AnndiJakarta You're welcome :) You can try sate senayan on menteng branch, not too crowded imo, well correct me if im wrong :) Their satay were good but too $expensive$ and fancy for most people or plebs like me :D If you can stand the street foods, recommended satay on jakarta were: sate rspp (the real one in front of rspp hospital), sate apjay (panglima polim), and sate sambas (near sambas park). They're located nearby so you can satay hopping, lol. Another one is sate sabang (sabang street, near sarinah mall). Here you can try any other street food and coffe. If you want to try another kind of satay, my recommendations are sate padang ajo ramon (on pasar santa parking area) and sate padang bendungan hilir (near bendungan hilir mrt station). Or you can order via go food/grab all the list above :)
Wow that's great! I always want to try street satay, although I see it all the time on the road, but I don't know how good is it... We always order local food on Grab, like bakmi or nasi goreng mie goreng (but I didn't vlog them haha...) Sorry if this comment went too political but seems like China-Taiwan tension is getting more worrying now. Hope everything will be all right, there are lot of Indonesian too in Taiwan😟. Might as well you longer your visa in here.
Hi PissMenn, nice to see your words again! 😊 Thank you for your attention to the news between China and Taiwan, I don't mind talking about politics, it's okay! In fact, this has been a problem since I was a child, but in recent years I found that more and more countries in the world are concerned about this issue, so the Communist Party in China also produced more or greater actions than before (e.g. military exercises interfering with Taiwan, which have become more and more frequent in recent years...) I think this current tension, maybe on the bright side, can make more people know Taiwan and know that we are a democratic country, different from the Chinese communism… Of course I also hope my country is safe. Haha thank you for the advice, actually we have extended visas every year, mainly because my husband's job. Our family is all in Taiwan and eventually we should come back to Taiwan no matter what because it's my country🇹🇼:) Thank you for seeing the news and giving me words here, I’m so glad and grateful! @@AnndiJakarta Thanks for the explanation.. Yes Taiwan is a country! In my opinion it does looks like a normal country indeed. It has it's own government, systems, passport, currency, stock exchange, and of course military forces. There's no way it could merge into China. It will get more international recognition soon or later. I remember many Indonesian support HK movements in 2019 and we would do the same with Taiwan as well.
