Jake's not going anywhere until he needs his meds adjusted again But that was his agent that caused some of this trouble Just so happens to be the same agent that Zach Senshyn has - who also happened to request a trade about the same time. And then of course Jake's dad is involved in the NHL as a reporter. But this isn't the first season Jake has taken 4 months to wake up and start playing. He's too hot and cold over the course of his career. He's not a goat. If he doesn't get smarter, as he gets older he's going to lose that speed which is his major advantage out there. He'll sell more jerseys wearing black & gold. So it'll be interesting to see how he's going to save face.
@@markandersen5867 was just chatting with another Bruins fan the other day - we realized this kid's got a lot of different people in his ear - his agent, sweeney, cassidy, teammates, and his father is involved in the NHL.. they don't like the Bruins so much. Then I don't know if he's married and has a wife? And if we listen carefully to what Brad says about jake, he's very tentative. Jake's following Daddy's legacy, that's got to mess with his brain. The expectations put on him since he was born. so this kid's head is probably like the Whirlpool washing machine at your local laundromat. Let's just hope it spins in the right direction through playoffs! Enjoy the game tonight - we don't get ESPN in my land, so we'll be listening to Jack! Go B's!
@@jordanrilett8382 I imagine it was but it still counted…they were winning the game by 2 so they probably just decided to give it to him, if it was tied they probably wouldn’t of called it a goal
I really hope the rumors of him coming to Edmonton are true. We could certainly use him and it's always fun to cheer for an Alberta kid in Edmonton, especially when his dad is the color commentator!
The bruins need a player like Jake in the trade market. Oh wait they already have him and he wants to be traded. Dude is a beast when he Is surrounded by players equal to his talent level. Hope they keep him.
He's been playing great since his trade request went public a couple of months ago. He's been on the top line for about a week. It's his effort, not who he's playing with, tho that certainly adds to it.
not a highstick per definition like Kalem said but still don't think so, or rather it was close. Because I like numbers: puck hit the heel of his stick, looks to be at about the numbers on his arm. Debrusk is 6' tall so the numbers would be about 1-1.5 feet below his head, plus his ankles + knees are bent and he's slightly hunched over so that'd easily give another 0.5-1 feet below his height. Nets are 4 feet high so it's perfectly reasonable that he hit the puck at about the crossbar. The angle at 2:15 is deceiving, the camera is not level with the crossbar. it was reviewed and not enough evidence to overturn so that's that
