try tuning the top and bottom head to the exact same pitch and tension, thats the best way to get the most resonance out of your toms in my opinion, works really good for big low tuned toms

+kimmy101 No DW, Pearl, Greiner Kilmer, and many others do not use Keller. Keller shells are fine but custom drum companies(SJC and Truth) charge way to much for the actual quality of the drum. Why spen 5k-8k on Keller shells when you could get an equaly as good kit for 2k. Or a better custom drum such as a stave kit or one from DW and Pearl.

Zildjian is a higher quality brand than both of those brands. You're hearing a camera inches away from loud cymbals, so it doesn't sound good but i have 3 of the cymbals in this video and they sound so much better in person.

NathanDrums lol zildjian overall is shit. Yeah they have a select handful of high end cymbals that sound good, but Meinl and especially Sabian just wrecks them lol

+Adam Troutman birth companies are wannabe carbon copies of Zildjian lol, AAX was a horrible attempt at trying to copy the A custom line. Meinl has some decent stuff but their China's and crashes are complete shit. Sabian has some decent ride cymbals and their ozones are king but everything else is garbage. As I said you're hearing cymbals 6 inches away from a gopro lol it's not gonna sound good. Zildjian is the superior company and always will be. They creates the gateway for cymbals today. Bet you didn't know that Sabian was actually derived from the zildjian family did you?

Not to mention the fact I've used meinl and Sabian and I've cracked every cymbal of theirs I owned. Been a zildjian player for about 2-3 years now and I haven't broken a single one yet.
