Finally! An interviewer who doesn't just ask the stupid usual questions about nudity and how did it FEEL being that exposed or WERE THERE ANY FUNNY MOMENTS ON SET????? So refreshing and they clearly were relieved by that. Going over Jake's old interviews its so obvious the people who don't really care about how acting actually is and just want a juicy headline at the end of. TELL THE ACTORS HOW THE FILM MADE YOU FEEL. Delve into the subject matter or dynamics of the film instead of how they prepared for the shirtless scenes that are asked by everyone else.
Awesome interview. Was obvious that you cared about the movie, and that it actually touched you. Intelligent questions, as they mentioned as well, questions that weren't just plain boring and superficial for once, from an interviewer. Listened well, asked good questions, cared about the movie that the two of them had to talk about... Awesome!
Jake's right about the trailer...I'm glad I watched it AFTER I watched the movie (cause my bf brought it at home saying that he downloaded a movie that I will love, so basically I had no idea what we were watching at the beginning)... After that I watched the trailer and I thought exatcly the same - no matter which scenes were chosen for the trailer it's not enough to show the whole enchantment of the story... I I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
The commentary on this movie from both the actors and interviewer in this is so spot on. I wish clips of this interview were part of the advertising campaign; it would have emphasized that this movie is so much more than the nudity. I'm going to echo everyone else here and say that this is one of the best interviews I've ever watched. Kudos especially to the interviewer for being so personally engaged and sharing his connection to the deeper aspects of the movie.
Love the interview. Both the actors and the interviewer sound very intelligent, and it just feels great to finally hear a discussion about the actual theme/story behind the movie. Can't wait to see the film. Thank you!
I know its been pretty much six years after this post and don't even know if I'll get a response, but...I watched this movie again after seeing a couple interviews and it was really cool to try to understand the actors opinions and comments on certain scenes but just had to say that this was the best interview I found about it, very good questions! One thing I would love to fInd out about the actors is how do they deal with their own emotions and feelings throughout the process? Me for exemple, I fall in love with time and a day to day basis kinda thing and it would be really interesting to know how they dealt with that since in this movies they were so intimately involved, fiscally and emotionally, for quite a time. Anyhow, the actors are amazing, loved the movie!
Hey, my pleasure. Thank YOU for the great interview (I only repeat myself on that because I didn't connect the dots until now that you're the owner of the channel). You earned yourself a subscriber for this interview :)
this is such a great interview. saw the movie, SO GREAT. i wasn't even expecting it to be so good, since the trailer seemed like just another romantic comedy. its really wonderful. they are both phenomenal actors.
Gaaddaaamn I dont think ill ever be able to see this movie in the theatres because im underage and there us no way im seeing it with my parents or any other adult in my life thats old enough to pass for my guardian Ill wait for the dvd...depressing
Correct me if I‘m wrong - but is Jake wearing one these rubber bracelets that have the shape of an animal if you take them off?? Does anybody even remember those things?? They were super hyped years ago...
