I know he apologised but he really shouldn't have asked a question like that, even though he is an interviewer... Jake took it wonderfully, another reason to love this man.
As a former interviewer myself, I find it a serious oversight to not at least spend some time asking Rachel McAdams a question. Robin Williams paid more attention to her than the interviewer did.
If I were the interviewer, I would rather pay more attention to Rachel. God damn it, who would want to ignore this beautiful gorgeous and talented lady?
Mary Jane Holland Ikr... Plus, call her "sweetie" from the get go, then naturelly kiss her at the end like it's normal to request a kiss and just say to her "you look gorgeous" , and ignore her completely in your questions like he's a god and she's sone kind of extra only here to look good... :S
Oh geez, I thought this was going to be a cute clip and it certainly started out that way with Jake and Rachel making googly eyes at each other... Shitty thing for that reporter to throw at Jake in a happy moment, bringing up his dear friends death. I'm from Heath's home town so it definitely hits a sore spot for me and then its topped off at the end with one of our final glimpses at Robin Williams being all cute. Bahhhhh!!

i really think it was pretty innapropriate to ask about heath ledger considering the fact that jakes the god father of heaths daughter and clearly its a huge personal loss. i feel like it was just....bad timing. but other then that, jake and rachel look GORGEOUS. they could repopulate the earth haha.
@Chan3lprincess16 calm down. keep in mind we're talking about real people. And jake gyllenhaal, a real person, lost a friend in heath ledger. None of us know jake. None of us know what he went through. Don't judge him by how he acts in front of the camera.

@eausavage umm im pretty sure they were much closer than normal costars considering that jake is the godfather of heath ledgers daughter. they spent a lot of time together after the shoot and press too. they clearly formed a strong bond and did have a very close relationship.

Sure interviewer asked about Ledger, but he's doing juts his job, Gyllenhaal should star avoid inappropriate question, if he didn't feel confortable with.

They're just good collegues, you share some experience whyle you're filming, and filming Brokeback Mountain take quite a lot, about 2 years i if remember correct, it's so natural been familiar with a acquaintance after such long time, i don't get why all among out there boering with this fairytales of this sacred, pure frienship They're just co-star in a movie and done some promotion, and went to festivals and press conference, that's all, no one at all wish that someone such young die.
