Taylor is allowed to feel however she feels about anyone. But it doesn’t mean swifties should attack certain people. She literally said ‘I want them to picture their ex, not mine’

whether or not you think he’s a bad guy, people literally have to stop with their crazy behaviour towards him, I think they don’t get that what they’re doing is literally cyber bullying

I've never understood the hate on Jake. Like, yes, he was a bad boyfriend. But he's not a bad person. And someone's past relationship is none of people's business. Jake gave us great movies and a great Taylor album. You listen to music to make your personal life make sense a little more, and not to speculate around the artist's life.

I agree with jake I love taylor swift but ,she has a responsibility to prevent social media bullying by cautioning her fans.

Don't come at me , I won't even bother replying .I'm a fan of taylor and also like Jake Gyllenhaal, I don't think he said the song isn't about him but he means that he has got nothing to add in or his opinion on the song . It's about taylor and how she felt at the time and he's completely fine with it . He's not holding taylor accountable or anything, at the same time he thinks that cyber bullying him or anyone like that was not okay in anyway . Some comments that I personally saw were pretty sabotaging and hurtful about him . While I would never justify his behavior in the relationship, I also think that I cannot completely judge his personality based on a 10 min song . People make mistakes and they grow and he doesn't deserve so much hate over a 10 year d relationship. I personally think that he did handle this question in the most civil way possible.

We all know All Too Well is about him, there are too many clues for him. But he was kinda right that it's about Taylor's relationship with her fans, Taylor said this song was changed forever for her and now it's our songs and when she sings it she thinks about our connection and relationship to her. Even though he was a jerk to Taylor in that time, i think i still can't thank him enough to give inspiration for best song ever made.

Unfortunately, it’s human nature to be a jerk to others that you’re not really into (especially guys behave this way). Taylor was a jerk to Taylor Lautner cuz she wasn’t really into him, but made up for it by writing a song about it.

She doesn't care about the blow back on him just as he doesn't care about her feelings, manipulated her emotions, used her till the time he felt need, and left her when the need was ended, never loved her !!

Okay look, when he said "it has nothing to do with me" he obviously didn't mean it wasn't about him, he meant that this is her job. It's what singers/song-writers do. They take a situation they were faced with, they romanticize it/overdramatize it to make it into something everyone will pay attention to. That's literally Taylor's job, so yes, it has nothing to do with him in that way. I have nothing against her, but I have plenty against her toxic fans that send death threats to people just because Taylor said she didn't like that person. Those people give all of her decent fans a bad name. That being said, Jake's right, she needs to at least speak out against all the hate he's being faced with as a result of this whole thing.

So annoying seeing comments saying her putting this out is ridiculous because it’s been so long and she should get over it but it’s not like she wrote a new song about him out of the blue a decade later lol She was releasing and promoting all her versions of her albums and has been making more music videos for certain songs that didn’t get one when the album originally dropped. She had to focus on the song again to re-record it.

I love all these comments criticizing her for not telling her fans not to bully anyone she wrote a song about when she literally done that exact thing many times😂. She also spoke on stage at the eras tour before she dropped her version of the album with songs about John Mayer on it and she said she didn’t want anyone attacking or bullying anyone on her behalf. She also said it happened forever ago and she’s moved on and the fans screaming the lyrics everytime she plays it live is what has changed the meaning of the song for her. That before the song was about a rough time in her life and carried so much sadness for her but seeing fans embrace it now makes her think of them and playing for them. In her Reputation Tour on Netflix she said her fans at the show have turned it into a song that makes her so happy. Shes been relentlessly bullied her entire career and she’s spoken out defending her friends and she’s now friends with most of her exs. So Jake was right in that she has a responsibility to make sure she’s not encouraging toxic behavior and she needs to stop her fans when they attack others in her name; … but she’s literally already done that … she could’ve made this way more malicious or inappropriate than she did. She could be out here saying his name and every single detail of anytime he’s been mean to her lol And that’s really all she can do. L at this point. I’m not a Swiftie but everyone knows how intense her fans are, including her! She’s said many times how her fans will basically bully her for not putting out the right track for her singles, even she can’t control them lol remember her fans freaking out when she started dating Matty? That song is absolutely about Jake. There is a lot of information in the song and the video that makes that VERY clear. It is very specific and not at all vague. Besides, she was dating HIM when she turned 21! Nobody else. Which is what it is. I wouldn't want to write songs about any of my exes or have them write songs about me but I suppose you should consider that before dating her especially, since she very much writes songs about her exes. But certainly nobody should be cyberbullying him back then and certainly not now. He is right that you should be responsible for what you put out in the world. Especially, when it's very obvious exactly who the song is about. Many other artists are far less obvious about who a song may or may not be about. Since they were both in the "public eye" it was rather hard to keep things private as it was. It doesn't paint a picture of a person who was a good boyfriend but that doesn't mean that is how he always is and certainly not how he is that much later. Relationships are complicated. I keep mine very private but I'm not famous and I definitely don't write songs so I have that definite choice.

I know i’m kind of late to the game, but their relationship was actually longer than 3 months it was around 8 months, off and on, I feel like most people don’t know that. I am not a fan of Taylor Swift, in fact I think she’s annoying and incredibly selfish. But, the things she talks about in All Too Well really shouldn’t be taken as a grain of salt if you’re a fan of Jake. Watching the short film based on that song REALLY opened my eyes. There was also a story an 22 year old intern wrote a few years back about her personal experience working alongside a much older Jake Gyllenhaal and he was.. manipulative and creepy to say the least. To add on to this, there have been other allegations made against him before (nothing solid, but still should keep note of) and it almost seemed like there was going to be a #MeToo about him but it all went away. His history of MUCH younger girlfriends is also questionable as well, Dicaprio type vibe. I fell in love with just about every movie Jake has taken part in and he is incredibly talented but the way he treats young women is terrible. And that article the intern wrote is DAMNING, Im surprised there hasn’t been much of an uproar.

This is why I can’t listen to Taylor Swift. Her obnoxious fans I feel ruin her more than embrace her. Every time I hear her music now, all I can remember is them.
