@@Ahmad10575 he is .....was rooting for him, and will give him all the credit when it comes to heart and determination, but if i'm honest, the skill was even worse then i expected, no headmovement, zero footwork, he seemed to defend shots with his face, i honestly hope he got compensated well for this!

@@aqeebshahbaz3306you can't win if you suffer a broken rib in the first round. Even throwing a hard punch at full power is very difficult with a fresh broken rib. He lost this fight on that first punch. Just how it goes. Jake is still amateur level overall but he's still good enough to where a little mistake will cost you big time. There's zero room for mistakes as you climb up in skill levels that's why you always see two elite boxers when against eachother studying each other more so than fighting the first 3 rounds.
I agree man, what has made me a fan is his heart it's solid and his tenacity in that ring comes from just that and his genuine love for the fight game. Perry is that dude honestly.

Mike is honestly a awesome human being. He’s changed so much of the past few years I’m actually super proud of him pretty cool to see two men who just punched each other in the face sit down and get along pretty awesome hope to see more of Mike Perry in the future.

Jake, you're a genius for having your power hand inside a black glove. It blends into the crowd behind it and makes it harder to see coming after jabbing with the bright white glove over and over. I think it's a great contributor to your success with the big shots. I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone talk about that. Good job with the mental side of the fight game. Jake should be ashamed of himself and should take NO credit for beating a person who couldn't even box. fighting someone with no defense and doesn't know how to throw punches or block shots is not a fair match. Jake need to stop fighting washed up mma fighters and old guys and fight real boxers like Hasim Rahman Jr. or Kenzie Morrison

@@kev30631well he wasn’t gonna fight for free so…? He obviously just meant respect for Perry taking the boxing fight as he’s not a pro boxer, he fights bare knuckle. Different distance management involved, footwork, fight length etc
I hope Mike's rib isn't too bad. I got kicked in the ribs in a kickboxing fight about 20 years ago (I'm 40 now) and it still has not healed 100%. My doctor explained to me that the rib can tear away from the membrane that keeps it in place, which is actually worse than breaking a rib, because bones can heal faster. If I gain 10lbs or lose 10lbs, my rib cage expands and so the rib never connects back to the membrane. Sometimes just even sweeping a broom pulls the rib away and it's excruciatingly painful.
I broke a rib once, I can’t imagine having to fight a fight after that happening. I think it wouldn’t have been a different outcome if that rib wasn’t broke
No joke. After all of Jake’s fights and his antics to see him bring in Perry this quick and be cool. Jake’s all good in my hood. This was the perfect fight for Jake and him and Mike will probably be homies forever now.
Glad Mike has found his path in the fight Game. It never clicked perfectly in the UFC but set him up I. A good position .. everyone likes him regardless if he wins or loses
To be honest I wasn’t a fan of Jake and him being a boxer but he has proven himself as a fighter and hes put in the time and work and his skills prove that so I was wrong Jake is a boxer and has my respect 🫡
yes has fought one guy that qualifies as equal and he got beat by him. having xyz pounds advantage & fighting people that do not box AND/OR are way past their time isn’t commendable.
He does a lot for people I agree BUT as a wanna be pro boxer he gets all the hate he fights Old Has Been UFC fighters, fought one mediocre boxer and lost. Second he fights dude smaller and weigh less also dude is all juiced up! Dude has yet to call out ONE top 20 boxer is his weight class or goes and does an MMA fight. 😂
Jakes needs to accept he puts on circus fights. He’s an entertainer. He calls out retired ufc/fighters and made a career of it. The mayweather concept all over again. People pay to see Jake get beat. Ufc fans see what these fighters do in the octagon and automatically assume it’s gonna play out the same way in a boxing ring. The probability of a ufc fighter beating jake is always gonna go in jakes favor but ufc fans don’t see that. Jake needs to fight actual boxers if he wants to be respected as a boxer. He won’t cuz jakes star power is to big to fight low level fighters that will probably beat him.
He is a completely diff weight class. But Perry made the call & did the fight knowing he’s going against a dude that has 30-35 pounds on him in the ring.
I'm a diehard MMA fan, but people need to realize that Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer. MMA fighters need to recognize that it's a different sport, and this dude can BOX!
