i was actually hit by hurricane harvey i am very thankful that kavos has made this video my entire family could have died and im not joking although my entire house wasnt destroyed everything inside it was my entire neighborhood had yards full of trash and debris i had to see my childhood house without walls,windows,floors,lights,and doors i had to see counters barley hanging on a chasis made of wood my stuff was covered in the brown water filled with debris and dirt and memories most people wont believe this comment but jake is just a horrible person and i cant believe that even when people have and almost have died im disgusted by jake he wanted to help the best way he could wouldve been for him not to come Disgusting

As a Houstonian, I can say first-hand that publicity stunts like this 1) Don't help, and 2) Hinder the real heroes. If he really cared about the people impacted by the floods, he'd do what J.J. Watt did (if you don't know, JJ raised 37 million dollars in a few days for relief purposes).
I know this happened almost 2 years ago, but I remember the Hurricane very well. I am a Houstonian as well, I lived around Sweetwater in Sugar Land if you know where that is. I am 100% with you when you say that publicity stunts don't help and they make things worse. P.S. When the Astros won the world series, I think that tremendously boosted the morale of all of us there, and to me, that was the best World series win ever by any team.

I'd also add a few things: 1) By him being there, he would of caused a lot officials like police, fire department and other social services to stop what they are doing and come to this "meet and greet" to diffuse the situation etc. So the people that actually need the help, may not have got it that day, this is what Jake paul took away from them by publicly announcing that he will be there. 2) if it was 2000 fans as they say, imagine the traffic jam, they would of held up a lot of traffic here and there, blocking potential path for emergency services, family members or important people heading towards or from the disaster. It would have also cause blocks from local people trying to get supplies and food from the store as well, especially since they had to shut down their doors momentarily. 3) f*ck Jake Paul. For real.
