This promotion is a masterclass in the power of editing and narrative. This made Jake look like a real fighter, yet the actual press conference made him look like a prepubescent male.
Jake doesn’t look bad, but how is your mind and body doing after giving it your all for 10 minutes? If you’ve wrestled or boxed before you know fatigue makes cowards of us all.
You can see the difference in the way they talk, Jake continues to talk as if he has something to prove and is over compensating but Ben just seems chill

I feel like as Ben is looking at Jake his inner voice goes "Man this kid is so overconfident, I've seen it all before and I know where and how it ends". Doesn't matter if Ben beats him or his next opponent beats him, Jake WILL be taught a lesson when the time is right.

I’m sure he’s got a lot of great business people around him. Even his pick of Ben was a good business move. He gets to say he’s fighting a world champion, but in reality Ben was never known for his striking. Basically big reward and in theory low risk.
