I must have replayed the “typo in this crossword puzzle” bit a thousand times and never get bored of it. So much is said in that one scene and it’s just so so beautiful. This is such an example of real true love. That he sees her overreacting to something he doesn’t care about, but is so unapologetically herself, and he can see everything she is, even the parts that on paper shouldn’t be compatible, and thinks “I want that for the rest of my life. I want to hear her rant about crosswords and binders and things that seem silly to me forever. I just want to be with this person in all there shades and quirks for all time, and that time can’t come soon enough.” And what’s better is that no one can fake that moment. That moment is there ‘cause someone didn’t care about seeming cool or normal or conforming or trying to seem attractive, but just being who they are. And that authenticity allows the other partner to accept that this beautiful human being is all they could ever need, whilst acknowledging they accept them as they are too.
