@@Webbygears It's not necessarily a matter of how gay it looks. That's a subjective outcome. The real issue here is the engineering that went into the Cruze. While this car will never compete with foreign luxury sport sedans like BMW and Lexus, it did have the potential to change Chevrolet's reputation for the better. The Cruze has sporty looks -- especially the Gen 1 model -- and a nice interior package for the LTZ trim. But that's about it. Chevy fucked up the engineering that went into this car so much, it's hard to believe the problem areas made it past Quality Control. Whose idea was it to use rubber check valves in the PCV system? Reality check: rubber and hot engine gases don't mix. Then there is the turbo, which is prone to failure under 100k miles. Same can be said about that shitty 6-speed auto. There are so many complaints about the Cruze's automatic transmission, it is surprising a class-action lawsuit hasn't been filed over it. I own a 2013 Cruze LTZ. I bought it as an economical, fuel-efficient car for my 170-mile commute (round trip). The Cruze LTZ looks sporty, it has the RS sport suspension, and the interior is gorgeous and comfortable. The sound system is a sweet 9-speaker Pioneer package (factory installed). I really like this car, but i only needed to own it for 6 months to decide it was a piece of shit. I'll never buy another GM product again.

@@csn6234 lots of hate for it , and i get it , your points are valid after seeing so many reviews websites but i currently own a 2016 Cruze LS 6 speed manuel 1.8L motor thankfully not the 1.4 turbo .. its realiable than i thought it would be , first owner and loved it since , currently has 30k miles and babied the hell out of it but i think its most of the Automatics 1.4 AND the 1.4 turbo 6 speed manuel are the ones that are really bad

Anggelo there’s two t-20 bolts in the wheel wells and a few fasteners along the trunks and some clips and it pops off. The diffuser is polyurethane molded to the shape of the body cue!

soufwest ridaz maintenance your cooling system at proper intervals and replace the $23 water outlet when it fails and you should have no issues with the car. Letting any car overheat is bad if you hit 3/4 heat, shut the car off because you can cook the pistons.

Mines never over heated once. It stays 2 lines under the half mark?

Mines got 190000 miles on it hasn't overheated once.

You'll be cursing yourself after that fucking PCV check valve fails inside the intake manifold, followed by the pressure-regulator diaphragm in the valve cover, followed by the check valve at the turbo inlet. Followed by the turbo, of course. I own a Cruze LTZ and I love the design and style. But Jesus H. Christ, I have never seen shittier engineering in a car that what General Motors continues to try and pass off to car buyers these days. First GM car I ever bought, and easily the last.

Ricardo Ayala cheap plastic parts call for easy boost leaks. However with maintenance it’s an excellent car. PCV is also weak in the manifold so if you externalize and add an upgraded one you should see no flaw.
