Dito ko rin na intindihan talaga na lahat ng tao dapat nirirespito at ginagalang dahil hindi natin alam ang pinagdadaanan nila😊 Enjoy what you are now Jake we are proud of you
I was one of the many people who said "Sayang" when u first came out Jake, I was such a big fan yours back then, that's why I said it. Now that I heard your side, I'm now enlighten and understand you. From the bottom of my heart, I AM SO SORRY.😭🙏❤
Aanhin ung Bible verses if not everybody is religious? Spread the "truth?" what are you God's attorney? If God is a really good father to all he would see what is truly in the hearts and minds of those who perish and not base his judgements on a book? Literally why would an all powerful God limit his judgment in the Bible? Why would he use the Bible to spread what he wants to say only to be used to hurt others? God's judgment and words should be his alone! Doesn't that make sense to you? Our morals is something we improve as we experience things as we grow older and that is through human hands despite laws being based on a Bible.
"Because if you need to be fixed, you must be broken", and in every brokeness theres a lot of experience that will give you so much knowledge and lead you to be strong as who you are.
Toni is in a league of her own. Kris and Boy Abunda can’t even... she interviews people and let them tell their story. Never making it about herself. Love it! Love her!
Wonderful interview. Both Toni as the interviewer, as well as, Jake being able to articulate his journey so well. It definitely helped us to understand and appreciate him and what he has gone through.
Yeah, after all we only live once..fame amd glory may pass as we age, but the contentment and happiness from within madadala ntin whenever we go. I think jake is a very strong person.
@@piep.llorente2498 agree ako but we must know na kasalanan talaga sa mata ni God ang baguhin at pangunahan ang mga bagay na sya nag create kasi pinakialaman nya ang kagustuhan ng Dios na kung ano sya.nilalang syang babae pero pilit nyang ginawang lalaki ang katawan nya.I idolized charice eversince sobrang nadisappoint ako na naging jake na sya pero sabi nga we are only human Dios lng nakaka alam after all kung ano nagawa natin sa mundo habang tayo ay nabubuhay.Sana God will forgive us from our sins
When Jake was talking about his transition, his face lit up. You can tell how happy that made him. That's how most LGBTQ feels like when they finally accept themselves. Some people will never understand but that's how it truly is with us. The best feeling talaga.
“WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT RELIGIONS, BELIEFS IN OUR LIVES, OPINIONS. BUT TO ME, IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND ME, THEN MAYBE JUST BE KIND TO ME” - JAKE ZYRUS 💯♥️
sya na nagsabi, he do not understand himself, he became suicidal, so perhaps he has not find his real self yet now that he is falling fast flat to the ground

@@philopinas bakit may issue ka ba?! Mahirap bang maging kind?! You're the one wasting your time here. I highlighted Jake's statement and put my own opinion after. Is that hard to understand?!
I clearly remember the time when me and Jake competed in an amateur singing contest in Laguna, she won the title and I ended up 2nd runner up, that time she was 10 years old, while me is 7 sobrang proud ako dahil once in our lives, we used to compete with each other ❤️❤️❤️ hoping that I will also be a successful singer someday
One can see how deep and profound Jake’s thoughts were when it comes to his mental struggles. I admire his resiliency. The inner peace he is experiencing after freeing himself from the heavy chains of bondage of what society expects him to be. I admire how he speaks with quiet and knowing comfort that despite everything/trials and all…things will be ok in the end. God bless You all and more power to you Jake and Toni❤️🥰
Jake's story somewhat teaches us how cruel people are. We tend to throw hurtful comments at someone without knowing what they are going through. Fact? We easily forgot how he - once - brought pride to our country and leave him behind his "darkest journey". Toni and Jake are right. Sometimes it's more important to be kind than to be right.
Bakit hinde mo na lang tangapin anong binigay sa ng ating panginoon Dios Sa iyo? Hinde ka kasi nakinig sa nanay mo. After zyrus masaya ka ba? Parang hinde naman
I've watched Charice perform and been so proud of her doing all those things globally with a beautiful story to tell, like in the movies. And today me and my mama watched her amazing performances again and again with our thoughts filled with amazement, as always, but there's that feeling of disbelief that those successes are now gone. Like Charice was so successful in international stage compared to where Jake is now. Then I decided to watch this interview and I get to understand what Jake had gone through hiding inside Charice. Even tho with greater success, there's a feeling that she didn't belong there and as what Jake said, 'it's a dark place.' Personally, I also had that kind of experience and feelings before but just like how he overcame, now I am happy with more simple not too extravagantly done posting everything in social media just to show off and please other people... I care more these days for myself not what others think of me. I like what Toni said, it's part of maturity... and that hits me. I think I am not the same person like who I was before, I lost some things and some people in my life but I gained true self and life is a lot more meaningful. I am happier now and that's the most successful thing for me. Not money or fame or luxury but to be true to yourself. Thanks for this Jake and Toni. May a lot of people will be inspired by your story. Some will easily judge; but the ones you have inspired will take ur experience as a treasure. No other way to be genuinely happy than to accept yourself and have the freedom to be honest to yourself.... some things might not be the same like fame, luxury and financial capacity but the most important thing is what's inside you. Jake's story is a proof to that. If mabasa mo 'tong comment ko Jake, whatever ure going through right now, either ure in good or hard times, youre an inspiration just like how you were once Charice... Whatever hard times, you'll get pass through it. You have come this far. Stay happy and blessed.🙏🏽☝🏽
@@nicolemayumi23 as he/she said it's her choice to change besides that's her personal life and make him happy no one make him happy except himself.....
Jake’s way of conveying the story made me understand that “coming out” is like DID manifesting in your life. I have DID and there is 4 of me inside; and I feel exactly what Jake did during the struggle. I also have severe GAD and I totally understand about anxiety and depression and suicidal thoughts. Thanks for this Toni, I was able to understand a part of how “coming out” 🏳️🌈 is like. 😌
Whispering a prayer for you Jake, that God will continue to heal you. And that you may always have peace within you no matter what... And for all the people who are going through similar struggles you had, people who are stuck in a dark place. Watching this is very heartwarming, you and Toni may be the light for people who are in dark places.. Toni, I look up to you and I admire you.... Keep on doing what you are doing! You inspire me as a woman of God! 💜
"...if you don't understand me, just be kind to me." Then na recall ko mga meme and articles written about Jake years ako. Grabe! Grabe. 💔 Napaka tapang at nakakamangha sya. 🌈
This interview moved me deeply. I realized how much Charice/Jake had struggled and how he came out a better version of himself. The best thing about his experiences was finding God amidst the darkness and confusion of his soul. Congratulations Jake and keep the faith! God loves you unconditionally. ❤❤❤
Kaya dito maganda magbasa ng comments sa YT. Mga professional. No Hate. Sa FB, puro hatred, hate. sakit sa puso magbasa ng comments sa FB. Kaloka. Thank you Toni 🥰
My stand with this is, we are “all” sinners, as a Christian our goal is not to condemn everyone who sins, that’s not the right thing to do. If you tell someone that he/she is condemned to death because of their sin, it will scare them away. But our goal is to bring them to Christ, to let other people know that Christ is compassionate, loving, forgiving and a comforting God to those who are experiencing suffering. That is the real characteristic of Jesus not condemning. We should reflect the characteristic of Christ. Our goal is not to be divisive but to bring people into the family. Through the truth, people will be drawn to the one who offers them MERCY, LOVE and FORGIVENESS. 🙏🏼😌 Thanks Toni for doing this interview with Jake. It helps people understand the reality and truth behind those who are suffering from identity Crisis, and hope it helps those who are also experiencing depression right now. If you are in that dark place, remember that is not the end of your life, better days are coming. Seek help and call on the name of the Lord, and He will rescue you.
Very well said. Our goal is to bring them to Christ. Anyone who drink milk is still a baby, without experience in applying the Word about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, for those whose faculties have been trained by continues exercise to distinguish GOOD from EVIL. Hebrews 5:13-14
i know you mean well. but please understand that being true to who you are shouldn’t be a sin. your faith and religion is yours to believe. please don’t enforce it unto others. we are not yours to “bring” to Christ. if you want to spread love to the LGBTQ community do so without the ulterior motive of changing them or converting them into your religion. love them because you love them. that’s how Jesus would’ve done it.

When he became an international star ( was Charice back then) he was managed/ trained by Oprah/ David Foster and their people and was given the oppurtunity to enhance his singing techniques including pronouncement, diction, delivery, stage presence etc. which he really used to his advantage. He's pretty smart, too ( watch how David Foster in an interview was very proud of him how Jake could easily learn everything). I wish people would give him an understanding and chance coz he's a very talented person. Godspeed Jake in all your endeavors 👏
We'd rather have a breathing, talking, and happy Jake Cyrus than a dead Charice Pempengco. Thanks for all the times you brought pride to our country! 💗 God loves you no matter what! 💗
This interview is an eye opener for all of us to accept and be kind to other people. Charice/Jake experienced so much in this world, people judged him, criticize and even insult what he wanted for his happiness. Charice finished what the things she need to be done and Jake now has his courage to finally live this world with happiness.
It's great that you came out and that takes a lot of courage. You can change your looks and all but part of me wishes that you kept your voice. That was your bread and butter. Sayang lang talaga to be honest. Continuous pa rin sana ang gigs mo internationally regardless of the physical change kasi your voice was truly a gift. It was magnanimous. I wish you happiness Jake, now and in the future. Treasure the life that you have ❤️. Still here to support you.
Maybe Charice come out at a time when most people are not yet accepting with regards to the LGBTQ community. These days, I think people have a better understanding on the topic and are more accepting of these. Kudos to Jake. I know that he feels way way better right now. Money might not be the same as before, but the feeling of freedom that he has is more than the money.
You have a point but Ice Seguerra came to America as a little girl "Aiza" but went back to the Philippines as Ice but that was not a big issue. People at the time of Charice I think was just putting to much pressure on her to be the most perfect "girl" "woman" as "she" was the pride of the Philippines at that time. I think the difference is that Charice was so popular at the time when she confessed her true gender identity preference at that put anxiety on her mom(source of income) that people would judge her so maybe she tried to controlled her but was way out of hand. While Aiza came to America and quietly changed as a "man" changes in appearance ofbut people didn't made the such of a big deal because "she was in America" when that happened. We all know that is totally normal in the states. Same what happens to Rustom he also confessed her in the pH during PBB but all he got is hatred too. I guess Filipino's are the world's best judger. Always judging without the context. I am happy for Jakes chosen path.
@@potatoo4315 When you are so popular they'll love you but they're also going to be the people who's gonna judge you when time comes. Like what she just be kind to always be kind even when you don't know the person. We all have our own silent battles. I'm choosing to be kind starting today.
I am literally crying 😭 I am One of the people get mad at him because he came out lesbian and don’t want to continue the old Charice. By watching this interview i realized to move on and let him be happy with his choice. Still one of the best singer i know!
18:20 i am crying as i type this.. Jake found his happiness by just seeing his flat chest, i can really see the genuine and sparkly eyes he has. Yes is it easy transitioning, pero ang mahirap na process ay yung iisipin mo kung ano ang iisipin ng mga tao. I'm so proud for him...ahhh
I remember kisses delavin saying the same in TwbA that she would rather choose to be kind than to be right because anyone in the world can be right but not everybody can be kind. The world can be harsh to you and break you into pieces but you can still be kind; and that’s power,” kisses d. 2018
Righteousness first and kindness is one of a fruit from being righteous. Many good people are in hell friend.,coz they still refuse to receive God even though theyre kind. So be righteous always
I just came across this interview and it's sad to realize that we have people like Jake that had to go to the very edge because society dictates that what he is is not right. I hoped we all remember to be kind. And, as we always tell the kids, "If you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say it at all."
A fan from since then you’ve discovered and by then with that kind of change you’re just being who you are with what you believe on having true to yourself in terms of all the things you were comfortable to lived in☺️🙌 Saludo ako sa iyong tapang Mr. Jake Zyrus.
I am always thinking of what made a Charice became a Jake when all the spotlights were all in her. I always wonder was that because spotlights are not the genuine source of happiness. Now, I get it. You are right Jake, no one will take your access to God. But let Him be your Savior and Lord.💗
I was just listening to Jake's Bakit Nga Ba Mahal kita version 'til I saw this interview. I was a suicidal myself and he was right, it was a very dark place. I'm so happy that he overcome that. Cheers!!!
Right? Sobrang nakakalungkot na nasa tuktok sya, halos lbuong Pilipinas proud sa naaabot nya but the truth is di pala sya masaya sa loob loob. Syempre he's happy for the achievements pero alam mo yon. Sobrang pressure naramdaman nya:
"When I experienced all those struggles, I became more closer to God." -Jake Zyrus Indeed, the Lord is close to the broken hearted. Yes! God will make us whole again. Let's fight our battles God's way🤍
I remember Jake Zyrus singing at our Office’s Christmas Party in 2019. He did not seem confident during his performance, probably because everyone was saying/shouting “Charice Pempengco” or “si Charice yan” At that time, I felt so bad for him because you can see that he was not enjoying his performance. You can feel almost everyone judging him! I get it, hindi nila accepted na wala na si Charice and si Jake na yung nagpeperform. Yung iba nanghihinayang daw kay Charice. I agree with Jake , if anyone can’t understand someone, just be kind. And I agree with Ms Toni na sometimes, its more important to be kind than be right. Good luck, Jake! You are such an inspiration! I hope to watch you perform soon! Marami kaming sumusuporta sayo!
Im not crying for this video because of explanation of jake cyrus... im crying because how toni deliver he's questioned and advices... toni is a great female host ever..
I hope that this interview opens a lot of eyes, especially those who still aren’t well-educated about this kind of topic. I also hope for people to stop disrespecting Jake and his decisions for his life, and stop referring to him as Charice because that is not who he is. Even if you think what he did with himself was “wrong”, just keep your nasty comments to yourself. Sometimes, *it is better to be kind than to be right.*
What was the name given to her by her parents? What's the name on her birth certificate? What does her chromosome say? Ohh I guess you can't change that after all right stupid. Reality is still reality and God wins all the time. Bravo!
@@orestetorres4261 Hi. I have 4 things to say: 1. Don’t call me stupid for expressing MY opinion on this matter. 2. Just like what I have put in my comment and what Ms. Toni have said in the interview, it’s better to he nice sometimes than to be right. 3. Why are you so pressed about this? Did he ever hurt you? Does his transition affect your well-being? Did he use your money for his transition? No. Do you even understand the interview? Do you even understand the point of the interview? 4. Why do y’all keep on pushing your God in all topics involving the LGBTQIA+? Did your God teach you to use his name to condemn others? And also, he also talked about his Faith in this interview.
@@shyshy7266 I called you stupid because you are. It's also called free speech stupid. You say don't use my God yet this hypocrite who claim to follow the same God I have who hates this kind of lifestyle also used his name to justify her sins right. That's called hypocrisy. So she can say or do whatever she wants but don't mention my God who will never condone, accept or promote this abominable lifestyle! Lastly my God taught Christians to expose darkness and evil so yes we tell the truth in love even when you deceived rebels call it hate! Because like I said anything goes with you people. @@shyshy7266 I called you stupid because biology still says she's a woman and not a man. You can change her name but you can't change her DNA and chomosome that's why I called you that and frankly you deserve it. That's not hypocrisy that's just reality and the truth hitting you in your deceived face. You can call me anything you want and I won't get mad as long as you are right so that's not hypocrisy. Know the difference. And stop changing pronouns just because the media and your friends told you so. Think for yourself for once. Lastly, stupid is not a bad word and my God called people worse things because that's what they are. If the shoe fits wear it as the saying goes.

Jesus Christ I’m in tears. Such an incredible interviewer, understanding and asking questions but really listening. And what an incredible interviewee. I’m trans, and also experience severe depression and anxiety, and recently survived a suicide attempt, and Jake’s description of suicidal thoughts is so true. It’s terrifying and all-consuming. And Toni’s quote about betraying yourself, it’s so true. That is truly what it feels like to be in the closet as a trans person. Or really as anything, I suppose. Myself and some others are often blessed with supporting family and friends, but still resist out of a fear of betrayal from them. When truly we are the only one betraying ourselves. It’s impossible to live that way. I hope that people who don’t understand transgender people and rights can listen to this and try to understand just how impossible it is to live betraying yourself.
Texadon Andromeda, your message made me think about the suicide rate among the transgenders. I would like to be as polite as possible because I know this is a sensitive topic. I have a relative in his late 20s and he wears women clothing and he's depressed. I'm worried because I read in the internet that trans people are more at risk of suicide by 43% than heterosexual, lesbian, gay, and bisexual people. Studies and surveys have shown many transgender people have thought about and attempted suicide, and previous suicidal behaviours such as these are the most reliable indicators of future suicide risk. My question is, how can we help him deal with his difficult situation. Is there a place where the trans people go to help them adopt their chosen identity and lifestyle? His family is supportive of him and he's very intelligent. The trans is foreign to his family.
Stay happy and be blessed jake we love u of who u are either charice or jake❤ toni always knows how to ask and deliver her question and understands people heart❤❤❤

I hope more people will see this video not just acceptance for “Jake” for all those people who are struggling to be true to themselves. At the end of the day we all humans and with our fair share of imperfections. Yet we are all loved and we are all children of God. There’s no way that we should pass judgment on others. That belongs to God alone. May we see one another as God sees us. God gives us peace. Have a blessed day!♥️💕🥰🙏
Too some sure, but not to everyone. Some have other gods making them whole. Some see relationships with people, success in their lives, material possesions, academic achievements, etc etc.. Humanity is so diverse that saying one deity (who hasnt been proven to be true and existing, yet.) can make one whole is pure ignorance and arogance.
Now I understand jake where he is coming from. ..sa lahat ng mga pinagdaanan nyang kasikatan, struggles and judgements,,it really molds him to become a better person and closer to God.
