One of two numbers that Jaki recorded for the first of Hal Willner's interesting concept/tribute albums of the 1980's and 1990's, that is to say the homage to Italian composer Nino Rota, Amarcord Nino Rota. Here, Jaki performs the main theme from Fellini's 1973 movie of the same name. Incidentally, Jaki's other contribution to the album is the theme to Fellini's La Strada. Anyway, it's a case of a fine rendition by a fine musician of a fine composition by a fine composer.
