A year after the first SpongeBob SquarePants Plug & Play got released, Jakks Pacific decided to make a SpongeBob Plug & Play which was mainly themed around younger kids due to it being part of their Plug & Play TV Kids line of plug & plays, with this one particularly being an activity center. First of all though, I honestly really like the design of this plug & play, sure it may not be as good as having a plug & play shaped like SpongeBob's head, but it's still a really nice design having SpongeBob's Pineapple House as the plug & play's design. Unfortunately, the joystick is more squeaky than the first SpongeBob Plug & Play, but that's probably due to age or something. The games on here are pretty basic, but if I had to say what the Worst and Best ones are in this plug & play collection, I'd say Metal Shaving Makeover is the worst and Krabby Patty Fry Fest is the best. As far as graphics & audio go, the graphics honestly look really good here, since they're mostly SpongeBob renders in a 16/32-bit style. And for the audio? Well, like the first SpongeBob Plug & Play, there's no music and only sound effects, though the SFX here are much more high quality rather than 8-bit, so that's nice I guess. Honestly, I feel like this would be a neat novelty just for the design, but the 2003 SpongeBob Plug & Play is certainly more worth your time.
