My solo album is coming out later this year! You can follow my SoundCloud page here: / jakub-zytecki and Facebook: www.facebook.c... Thank you for checking out my stuff
This guy knows wtf he is doing. He deserves his own studio, his own equipment, and all the other bands must seek him out to throw his awesome sauce into their mix.lol
Still to this day I come back to this video because I have the entire solo in my head and it resonates every time i listen to erised. I watched all the others and this is still the only one that stuck. The level of melody and playing here still blows my mind on how you didn't win. You don't need it though.
From participating on periphery contest to being the guest appearance on periphery's concert. You've come a long way. Keep showering us with your creation man. We love you❤️
I love his smile and expression at the end, he looks like he's very relaxed and really enjoying himself :) i don't know if this would be accurate but to me he sounds like he plays with passion instead of trying to show off
I think you deserve to win hands down, your phrasing and your tone are untouchable, I felt like close to all of the other entries were too flashy oppose to musical/tasteful, just trying to demonstrate how good their technique was in hopes that would win everyone over. This ones an absolute diamond in my opinion.
Holy Crap. That solo was way better than what was actually played there. Very shred heavy and melodic at once, which is tough to pull off, let alone as beautifully as Jakub did.
I wonder if Rick Beato knows about Jakub Zytecki? He should! 1 of his latest video was about Guthrie Govan (much older than Jakub) so it could be "discovery" for him to learn about Jakub. BTW it would be something special watching or rather listening to jam : Jakub & Guthrie
Question for you Jakub, or anyone else. I'm typically a metal/rock player but I want to get into fusion soloing and improvising similiar to the style of periphery. What's a good place to start with fusion music?
Check out Tom Quayle's website, he makes video lessons for moving from rock to fusion. I especially recommend "Introduction to playing over changes", very high quality material to understand modes and how fusion players approach the fretboard.
Ah thought that was the guitar, doesn't he have another one with a different finish? :O Lucky man, but to be fair if anyone deserves such fine axes Jakub does
