I was praying the Eagles got Jalen Carter in the draft, not just for his talent, but because he literally would have destroyed his NFL career in any other environment. In Philly, he has teammates that love him and a team that has a high caliber mental health facility. Everyone on the Eagles is a good guy. I already love this guy, and I know he’ll do just fine so long as he’s in green.

Wrong, Carter would've succeeded anywhere he went. Those so called 'character issues' were just BS. There's so many players that come out with 'character issues' but then tear up the NFL. Micah Parsons is a good example.

I hope Fletcher Cox can put together 2 more really good seasons and get his gold jacket. I kind of think he’s borderline right now, but if he can get 15 or so more sacks on his resume, maybe another pro bowl and/or Super Bowl, he should make it.

Carter must push himself away from the table! He could be a talented player but he has to lose weight or he will have a heart attack on the field. He has to move fast in the Pros. For his own health, he must lose weight. Doesn't the team have a Nutritionist? He is going to have to have the help of a Nutritionist. Fletch, take that dude to the gym and introduce him to the things that will move that fat off of him. He is not a baby. He needs to take his health very seriously if he expects to be of benefit to the team. Good health and talent go hand in hand. He is the only one who can change his diet and must take responsibility for doing that. Fletch can encourage him and I know he will but he can't control poor food choices nor can he control the amount of food he consumes. He needs to follow the Nutritionist advice. Got to be disciplined. He has to discipline himself.

I'll say it again, being a Raiders fan.. we dropped the ball on passing on Jalen. Look at history I know the cavaliers needed a center and Sam Bowie was no Bum, however passing on that M J guy out of North Carolina not good, or the entire NFL passing on that guy who is still bothered by being taken in the 6 th round. Every team passed on Tom Brady 5 times the rest is historic. The " It ' factor is difficult to measure, when originations get it right, Championship's. My team last won their Super Bowl in 1983 I was 22 yrs old. Shame
