nah it’s mostly because the property is usually cheaper to buy / own in those areas as opposed to having university property in more upper class areas. which is lowkey kinda fucked up, but not surprising..

I'm entering my sophomore year at LSU, my freshman dorm was right next to those apartments. The street he's talking about is Aster street, and everyone knows that it's the border between campus and the hood.
