The fact that hurts had an ok yr and was still ranked over dak when it was one of his best yrs shows that players value winners not stat padding regular season stuff. Let’s not forget hurts outplayed Patrick in the SB. Put respect on his name. Go Birds!
Yall know damn well hurts wasn’t no top 20 player last year. 23 passing touchdowns 15 ints is no where near top 20 production. He couldn’t even beat a blitz and yall telling me he was a top 15 player cut it out
There’s no legitimate argument that can be made based on last season that Jalen is better than Dak. Jalen is around were he should be but Dak who was the mvp runner up should be much higher.
Tbh i am very surprised hurts was even on the list, not because of hurts play but because he rarely gets the respect from people. Im glad the players actually put respect on Jalen Hurts name. Lets go! 🦾
Amazing isn't it? How is it possible that even in a down year, Jalen Hurts is rated as the 15th best player in the NFL when ESPN didn't even have him as a top 10 Quarterback? Well... The top 100 is voted on solely by current NFL players, versus the ESPN ratings which are decided by people like Nick Wright, a washed up poker player who never played a down of football in his life. I guess the real question is who is more qualified to come up with the more accurate ratings.
Most of the lists that come out during the off-season don't mean anything. Nevertheless, my point stands. Any list created by the people who play the game will always mean more than one created by the people who haven't.
No one can justify Hurts playing better than Prescott last season, the players can be bias too maybe they just like Hurts more than Prescott 🤷🏽♂️, the stats and the eye test says Prescott had the better season 2nd in MVP and made the all pro team but I digress the list is the list
How is your opinion Mr Williams more valuable than the actual NFL players who play against Hurts and Stroud? Sound like a little hate there? The list is what it is if the players ranked him and I'll agree with the players
@henrybraxton217 bro I'm not a homer, Hurst wasn't the 15 best player in the league last year. I don't care who voted, lol all you got too do is use your eyes, bro was trash last season
@@harrellwilliams5010 As someone who watched every game, Hurts was in a terrible system and was very unfortunate last season. While he wasn't as dynamic as he was in 2022, he certainly wasn't bad. A lot of his turnovers weren't even his fault, and there are stats to back it up. Jalen hurts had the 6th best turnover worthy play rate in the NFL last season, but ended up finishing 14th in interceptions out of 68 Qbs who played last year. I think 8 of Jalen's interceptions were his fault. The rest came from tipped passes and even receivers slipping mid rout. Honestly Jalen's 2023 season was a lot like Dak's 2022 season. Dak had many tipped passes intercepted and a lot of receivers dropping the ball.
@@harrellwilliams5010bro you can’t even spell the man’s name right but we supposed to respect your opinion on the matter ? Then you tryna convince us, that you know more than the actual players on top of that ? Lol okay
