Last time I saw a PG like this in college was Rose and John Wall. CP3 was really good in college too but different kind of player than these 3. Wish I saw Dame play in college more. Lol

Salai Lindsey As a 20 year GU borderline obsessive fan, I have to say Suggs doesn’t quite have the otherworldly quickness of prime Rose. I saw Rose live at Memphis, and his quickness was the best ever imo. Suggs does have that pop off the floor and very very good quickness. He’s a better defender than Rose in college by a mile. Suggs has a preternatural ability to read passing lanes. His passing is also much better than Rose’s. He is an ELITE passer both reading the defense and executing any pass humanly possible. Suggs areas he needs to improve at the next level (he will) are handle-his handle isn’t as tight as Rose/Wall in college. He can get careless with his dribble too often. He also has to improve as a finisher. The Kansas game was perfect for Suggs, but he hasn’t been quite that level at the rim since. Obviously his shot needs to continue to improve, but his base/release are miles better than Rose/Wall in college. I’d take Suggs top 5 for sure, likely number 2 after Cade.

@@GoZags43 good analysis Josh. I only got to see the latter day, hobbled Rose during his days with the Knicks. Suggs is incredibly quick interrupting passing lanes and came out of nowhere with a block. He was so quick the announcers had to review replay to figure out what happened. There was a recent assist which I had to rewind five times to fully comprehend. Kispert drew two defenders while Suggs lobbed a pass splitting a defender which resulted in a layup. His ability to pass long and accurate is remarkable for a player at any level, much less a freshman point guard. I’ll be a fan of Suggs wherever he lands and hope his ankles don’t give out.

He has that Jordan in him. Portland says “I need a center” and the response is “play Jordan at Center.” Lol. Suggs is just a gamer. Competes. Plays hard. Makes the right plays 95% of the time. Can do everything well. Easily the number 1 pick and that’s not a knock on Cade. I think he is really good too. Just Suggs has the it factor to me.

I like Suggs and Green this year. Both look amazing when you watch them on film. Not sold on Cunningham at all to be honest. I don't see what he does that will make him stand out at the NBA level.

My main concern, he never goes left. Dominate right hand move. He can get away with it in college, but not in the pro's.

i think cade has a better upside when it comes to shooting and space creation. plus gonzaga is in the WCC which is a weaker conference as compared to the BIG 12 which is the conference OSU is in. But suggs does have a lot of upside to his game and i can see him being an all star someday

Suggs is going in the Top 3 without question. 4 at the VERY latest depending on the team. I don’t think he’s a good fit in Memphis whatsoever. Green would be great choice there. If they end up with the 2nd pick, I’d have them take Barnes, Brown, or Johnson.

Fr if I was a NBA manager I would want the ball in this guys hands with the best forwards and bigs around him would only bring out his talent more in a NBA system he’s gonna be great

@@Tay.513 rankings in high school don’t mean anything. Cuz look at cole anthony . Was ranked # 1 and had a bad season at unc . Same thing with trevon Duval. Ranked number 1 and he’s fighting to get out of the g league. Rankings is really shit.

@Steph Boyarthree What do you mean do what? You do realize that the Raps need a solid off ball guard at 6'4 or 5 lets be real about that. Two undersized guards aren't working well without quality big men. They should be playing Waston, Davis, Matt or OG more at the two we need an SG with size that can shoot & that can attack the basket as well. Why do you think the harden talks keep popping up why was Beal a topic why is Victor and even Levert brought up. Clearly we lack size and it is showing.
