yeah i guess the trigger outs on the RD8 create a very similar sound. have you tried it?

thanks 🙏 yeah i do some eq on the mixer usually, just a bit of shaping, nothing extreme, and there is a limiter on the master, in most cases the old oxford limiter with a 30% enhance. i would mix the drums more when doing a real release, but while im jaming its just a limiter on the master.

for basslines i‘d say both work great, i dont have an sh101, just a sh-01a that i find fantastic, however the pro1 can produce a slightly wider variety of sounds. id buy a 101 clone first, then pro 1 later, but really both can produce fat basslines, no problem, its more a programming/sound design thing than a quality of the synth.
