basically dad is a family’s superman. the show is based around celebrity dads taking care of their kids without mom’s help. the mom usually will leave for 48 hours. sometimes the dad will be unavailable so mom might appear as in this clip, or they will be taken care of by other celebrities or do activities with a teacher of some kind

At the start, this show was about dads taking care of their kids for 48 hours alone without help. Although, it seems like the concept has changed already.

the concept is still about dad taking care of kids although I am not sure it's still 48 hours but pretty close I guess...but sometimes mom can appear like before mom leaves (to see her preparing to leave) OR when dad is not around but he has important event that will let his kids to see him as superman so mom helps taking care of the kids (like here Jam Jam's dad is busy preparing for concert so he's tired) OR when the kids are too young and still need mom (esp Jam Jam is still young and she is the only child. For example, Ben is still young but William can be his friend and Sam can handle both most of the times) OR when dad with the kids make surprise event for the mom OR any other occasions that need mom figure. "The Return of Superman" is because the dad is superman of the house and picture the figure of dads who return from work, they're like superman. The show should focus on how the dads become the superman to their kids but these days there are times the focus is on the kids too much but can't help it.

This girl looks just like her dad. If it comes to Naeun and Gunhoo or William and Bentley they are mixed so it's natural they don't really look like any of their parents.

Actually Gunhoo looks like his mom. I don’t think jam jam looks like her dad lol. All the Korean ones I can think of don’t look like their parents, SiHa..Seungjae..well some of the 5 siblings look like their dad but def not the moms because I think the moms def has surgery
