The MPC-X is great. It's a drum machine, sampler, synth, and sequencer. The CV outs are pretty basic but still very useful. There are no software lfos for the CV outs or anything but there is probability for the sequencer so you can do some cool things. I use the CV outs mostly for clocking other sequencers and triggering drum modules. As a sampler it's great and has some cool autosampling features for making large sample sets very easily. Some people don't like the MPC workflow but for me it was a game changer.
