Jamahal Hill wasn't feeling some of the questions from some of the media about Alex Pereira and UFC 300. MERCH: themaclife.teespring.com/ VISIT: www.themaclife.com FOLLOW: / themaclifeofficial FOLLOW: / themaclife LIKE: / themaclife
@@ResearchthejoosDana likes to play the rogue tough guy but he hires a lot of npcs and lubtards and even partner the ufc with bud light. He’s a larper.
@@therealwaltewhiteironically , i completely agree with you, most of them do suck , and Jamahal to be fair is fairly interesting and gave it back to ariel hawinger
Hill: "I feel like I've been ready to go for a long time, but I'll listen to the team" Reporter: "So will you only get that 100% confidence when you enter the octagon on Saturday night?" This is what happens when you don't have the ability to switch up your questions and only stick to what's written down no matter the response.
@@thisismyspamaccount452 I think the problem was that he just got done saying "he felt ready to go since he got hurt"... so obviously nothing is lingering, then 5 seconds later a question about if it's lingering in his mind. It was weird. the reporter should have asked the question first
@@MrMbrownjrI understand what you’re saying, but there is a distinction between being mentally ready to go and actually setting foot in the cage. I think the reporter was just seeking clarity. I can understand Hill’s frustration since I’m sure he’s gotten a ton of these questions, but I don’t think it’s out of pocket for the reporter to ask.
Nah. That wasn’t weird. Fair question, he pretty much asked if that injury will be lingering in his head during the fight. Could’ve just put it in simpler words
He kinda brings it on himself he seems sensitive asf why put so much energy into what random people say online or during media obligations? He’s a good fighter he shouldn’t feel the need to respond to the bs
You gotta understand the crowd your dealing with lol its MMA fans. A bunch of weirdos. Most not gonna respect or fully appreciate em just based off his physique and the fact he deems like a normal chill guy. Had he been some troll or a Costa physique these fanboys be glazing over, hed have more fans and respect. He's a great and slept on fighter, Alex has a tough matchup. Alex knocking his fucking lights out in 3 minutes though 🗿
He was pretty close to weight already. And I'm not sure if you've seen his previous interviews during media day and or with helwani. He's not the biggest fan of media UNELSS they ask him the right questions that he's interested in. It's very obvious to tell, reminds me of how nba players feel when they have to deal with stupid questions lol.
So happy for Jamahal. Glad he’s healthy again, hope the achilles doesn’t completely change him as a fighter bc he‘a a special type of fighter in my eyes.
Pretty sure he meant that feeling good in training and sparing is different than once you’re in there in an actual fight with a guy trying to hurt you, not a training partner or sparring partner who’s maybe holding back.
This is the type of questions we will get as long as ufc only allows only “yes man” to ask questions. Bring back Ariel and that girl that asked Jon jones about the pico gram
Just completely ignored Hill’s answer to the previous question that already answered his next question. That dudes a nerd, hate when he asks questions.
Hill looks to be in excellent shape for this fight! Im impressed he has fully recovered from an Achilles rupture in under a year . More impressive is that he has been able to keep up with the road work in preparation for this fight. Hopefully it holds up fight night.
I don’t know man, just saw a video and supposedly he did no running or even throwing kicks and most of this camp he was trying to get his weight back down for the fight. We’ll see I guess ☝️
@jarky418 Periera fans are the WORST and most toxic haters for no good reason. They are hating on Jamahal Hill for believing in himself, and I love Alex, but his fans are awful... and I guarantee Alex respects Jamahal, too. I'm 1000% rooting for Jamahal all the way through, gonna be a banger of a fight!
@@JordanAlbert-fu9jz all seriousness I fw hill too I think he’s extremely humble if you hear his motivation. his footwork and guard is pretty sus though
@jarky418 facts! People confuse his confidence for cockiness... he really is super humble and a gracious dude. And I really have a feeling that he is hungrier than Alex and he looks really good, in shape, and ready. I truly believe Jamahal Hill is keeping that belt.
What a question to ask though, on fight week. What's he gonna say....."Er I'm not feeling 100% confident at this moment but, I'm sure when that octagon door closes my doubts and fears will magically disappear. Well, I hope so anyway."
@@kratosofspartareal I mean he could just not be a dick about it? He could just say "Nah I'm already feeling good, feeling confident, don't need to get in the cage for the confidence to be there" or something along those lines. There are professional ways to answer these questions without being an ass about it for no reason.
@@rrsantanah it’s probably the most retarded question I heard fr😭 if you are a fighter you’re confident period. You aren’t a fighter if you aren’t confident bro always gives shitty questions
@@kagomehigurashi693 There was nothing wrong with the questions. These are totally standard questions that pro athletes get asked after catastrophic injuries, across all sports. Only Jamahal chose to be an asshole about it.
I’m worried Hill isn’t fully recovered from that Achilles injury. I don’t think people understand how much of a catastrophic injury that is. He’s coming back too quick
I don't think it's physically possible to perform on an Achilles that's 50-60% repaired after tearing it completely. The pressure and torque from throwing power and when he tries to initiate a take down it would be really difficult to carry such an injury
Thats the same concern I have too. I don't have a bias towards any of them, I just want to see a nice fight and them performing at their 100%. No bs like Volkanovski vs Islam 2 😐 Where fighters return too quick /not fully recovered
Don't personally know the dude but Hill seems like a cool guy and hope he wins just for all the people thinking Alex is gonna run through him. Alex is cool too.
I love Periera but his fan boys have been the WORST, and most toxic haters for no good reason. They are literally just hating on Jamahal Hill for believing in himself, and I guarantee Alex respects Jamahal, too. I'm 1000% rooting for Jamahal all the way through, gonna be a banger of a fight!
I like Hill's swag. He's the real deal. And so is Poatan. He's like an immovable wall facing an unstoppable force. I see Alex breaking that wall after breaking Hill's leg. Still, it's a fight game. Anything can happen. We, as fight fans, are in for a non-stop combat action in UFC 300! Let's GO!!!
Yall weird in these comments man. Bruh fights on Saturday. He’s cutting weight preparing mentally to cut weight weigh in and fight an absolute killer on Saturday night. Ask questions about the fight if he wasn’t prepared due to his injury he wouldn’t be fighting on Saturday. Hate when non fighters just start chatting shit is annoying
Not everyone’s built like mcgregor for media days I think most fighters have one thing in mind and that’s there opponent, or cutting weight lol but the media definitely ask random shit 😆
This is why I like Nina Drama's questions more, stop regurgitating the same old questions and then still pushing your narrative, even if the initial answer disputes the "intriguing questions" already, come on guys
As a kid i always wished i got into mma i trained with a group but in Michigan it was kind of hidden for certain circles you cannot get paid to fight in michigan. you have to sell tickets and merch on top of fighting. Jamahl hill is a freak and a inspiration for fighters and kids in Michigan Thank You Jamahal and congratulations for your Name you Are A true warrior.
@@Red-mc5eehill did say he does not plan in takeing down Alex he said he will stand with him and knock him out so he should be a man of his word and not turn into a crotch sniffer
@@eddielamarca8079That’s the only out cold KO Pereira’s ever had in 77 career combat fights and only 2 TKO’s. Nobody’s hit Hill as clean as Poatons going to so let’s see if Hill Sleeps in this fight ☝️
I think these media days would be more fun if they took place in a cage, with each reporter getting to put on the gloves and ask a question before having to defend themselves if they piss off the fighter
@@ProfessuhLemon he seemed kinda bored here, Am I missing something? Lol I don’t watch every interview so I’m genuinely wondering why his feelings will be hurt in media day
I understood the question but clearly Jamahal doesn’t vibe with the media obligations.. was condescending in most of his answers. Still a fan and hope he wins, but wish he was a bit more respectful to the media for doing their job..
@X22689 Yupp but to be honest I would take the fight as well. He gets PPV points on probably the biggest card of the year that is millions right there.
@@thedarkknight3393 not saying there wouldn't be any challenges for him at heavy weight but dude walks around at 220-230 lbs he could pack on weight and muscle and be a problem at heavy weight imagine the first 3 weight division champ that scary stuff bro
@@georgegonzalez5156Tom Aspinall finishes Alex in the first. Too big, too fast, ground game would take years for Alex to catch up. LHW has no wrestlers that’s the only reason Alex is champ now.
@@jakesaint6256 Aspinall is a phenomenal talent no doubt but knowing the kind of fighter he is he will wanna prove he can strike with Alex and that will be his downfall. Yes Alex was knocked out by Izzy but that was at middleweight with Alex cutting tons of weight which makes the chin questionable but at heavyweight the chin will be there, and while the possibility of tom knocking him out is definitely there u are right in saying the wrestling would be the easiest path to victory. But in all I would love to see that match up and watch them swang and bang!👊👊
@@jakesaint6256 Yeah the last 4 Champs/former Champs he beat were all walks in the park. Before fighting Jiri he was supposed to get smashed and ragdolled, after KOing Jiri in less than 2 rounds now Jiri ain’t 💩. So damn funny the twisting of the narrative mma fans push forward for the fighter they like ☝️
How did you come to that conclusion? Here's what I saw... Reporter asks a question about being ready, Hill gives a confident answer with a twist, reporter asks a second question that didn't make sense, considering the first answer.
"When did you feel ready to go?" "Since I got injured, but I believe in my team and doctors so I took my time and healed fully, but I've felt ready to go this entire time" "So you won't feel 100% ready until you're in the cage? " .... WHAT???? That was a weird ass follow up bro. Stop hating.
This is really what they need right now cuttin weight, gettin into the beast mode, having to answer stupid questions. I know its showbiz etc but me personally as a hardcore ride or die mma fan, i wouldn't be offended at all not seeing any pressers etc the fight week. Just my opinion. Hardcore fans unite, casuals become hardcore.
@@We__LitI want you to cut as much weight as he has, train as hard, and then have to publicly respond to stupid questions while dehydrated and miserable. Let’s see if you can “handle those few interviews”
