I'm very proud of you Rasheed McDonald the best is yet to come with your strength and the help of almighty God I know you're going to make Jamaica proud at the Olympic at the peak of the right time God will take of you big yourself one love ❤🏃♂️
"Young Jamaican", Rusheen will be 32 during the Olympics in Paris, well done for his Bronze & 1st ever individual Medal, but c'mon Peter man! His 45.65 is the 21st fastest time in the world this year & 119th fastest time in history. Those are the raw numbers not emotion. Fair to say your opinions about Shashalee were more about emotion when the rest of us were telling you her outdoor 7.03 was to be ignored & that the likes of Dosso, Swoboda & obviously Alfred were the real medal threats?! Shashalee never ran quicker than 7.11 in SIX indoor 60m races this year!
Solid points King, however Fraser Pryce and other managed to produce their best times after the age of 30. It's hard to deny that if King Rusheen is managing pbs at age 32 his best years are 'not' behind him. To deny this fact is would be denying the numbers. As for Queen Sashalee I mis calculated and very early in dicided that our winner over the 60m all things being equal would most likely be Queen Julien Alfred. I am quick to concede that I am a super fan of this game called track and field who is always winning to learn adjust and grow. It us one of the reasons I enjoy reading your comments which are always insightful. This is the purpose of the platform to have fans learn from experts. Bless up lion 🙏🏾
@@peterlloydworldShelly & Ta Lou are outliers not the norm & also they compete in the short sprints not the brutal 400m! Should be noted that it's easier for someone like Rusheen to PB in the indoor 400m as he'd literally only run it 5 times in his career prior to these Indoor Champs! Would be very wise to wait till after a few outdoor 400m races before declaring him a 'medal favourite' in Paris after he never ran anywhere close to the 44.03 he ran last year in the rest of his races!
Bro (AllinThegame) stop taking about track and field if you know nothing about it. Rusheen ran 46.25 followed by 46.02 followed by 45.6. This is significant for two reasons. 1) Rusheen has struggled with distributing is energy through the rounds. He did so very admirably with a PR in the each round .2) Rusheen had the fastest time for any Jamaican 400m runners last year. Last years form appear to have carried over into this year which portends for a more consistent Rusheen this year. Your point about the 119th time in history is silly. The holders of those other 119 times were for the most part not in the race. You appear to have difficulty celebrating other people's success.
Reasonable assessment. However, the 400m race is far more difficult to run consistently fast times because of the distance and pacing strategy by the athlete. Running a fast time requires the right splits and pacing. Miscalculate and you either over compensate or under perform.@AllInTheGame01
