I been looking for a recipe that includes all the ingredients in the Jamaican Black Peppr Shrimp and you’re the only one I found. First of all thank you and your humor was great. I’m going to try it tonight.
This was the exact same recipe as the Cheescake Factory. I was like, "WOW". I did double your recipe and I added CIlantro which is KEY. I also added a cup of Orange Juice and 1/4 cup of cummin. The sauce thickened after I added the shrimp with the flour. I also used premade garlic butter. Thank you. I will never spend 20.00 on that dish again. AMAZING!!!
This is my mom's favorite ccf dish. I just made it for her today and she loved it. It's dead on. I even plated the same way. Thanks a lot for the great video. You're a funny dude too.
Why don't you make more cooking videos? My favorite ccf dish was the Thai pasta but they discontinued it. I know there is a few people that miss it . There is a dead on recipe on line for it too(I've made it a few times), but there's no video. It would be awesome to see you do it.
Martell Ortiz Hey Martell, I'll try to make some more but I've never made that dish. The reason I made this video is because I saw lots of recipes out there that weren't even close and people asking how to make the dish. I figured that since I knew how to make it and had been making it for years that I would share that with everyone. If I make more videos I will probably make them about things I know how to make. But if you can link me the recipe I will try to make it first and see how it goes.
sdw3485 hey there. If you don't like it thick you can simmer it for less time or add more broth/beer. I have had this at the CCF for about 10 years now and I have noticed that over the years the sauce has gotten to be less thick more recently. It works either way but I happen to like the sauce thicker. Cheers!
