Another great interview! It's so spontaneous and natural. African Tigress, you pulled out so much out of this man. This must be your God given gift. I wish you would make Jamaica your home, and study our history and use it to enlighten our people. There is so much we don't know. Because our people never invested in researching our African roots. Many Jamaicans know nothing about the continent of Africa. A people who don't their history will make the same mistakes again and again.... Now that so many people are interested in Jamaica, we must be careful....

Change that to "young people don't know their Jamaican culture". The older generation knows our culture very well. We were taught in school. We honored our ancestors especially on National Heroes day when we had to meet in the capital of every parish and listen to all who died to give us our freedom. We know who we are and our African heritage. Young people are lost.

Colaz is very intelligent..he’s given some great advice/ information. Jamaica is the Pearl of the Caribbean. Jamaicans want to go to Africa but the airfare is expensive for them! Portland is beautiful!

@@AFRICANTIGRESS Now that you have seen rural Jamaica you have to go see where wealthy Jamaicans live. Have someone take you up in the mountains of Kingston and St Andrew. If you can stay at an Airbnb up in those areas the view is breath taking especially at nights. These are just some of the areas names. Queen Hill, Beverly Hills, Jacks Hill, Stony Hill, Norbrook. Those are just some areas. The wealthy Jamaicans live there. Stay at an Airbnb with a balcony and see the view at night. So beautiful!

Colaz, Jamaicans in foreign countries refer to Jamaica as yard because in Jamaica ppl always refer to their homes as their yawds. E.g, let's say u r downtown shopping and a friend may ask, "Where r u going after this?" Ur response may be, "To mi yawd" or "I came by ur yawd dis morning but couldn't find yuh"...u get the idea, ur yawd is ur home. So as "Foreigners", Jamaica is our home, our yawd. Remember, Bob Marley even mentioned it in a line from one of his many hits, Jamming- we jamming right straight from yard

I am so over the moon you linked up with Coloz and his team. So glad you got to go to Portland, it’s on my bucket list of one of the places to visit next time I am in JA. Another place that I would recommend for you to visit is Holywell Park in the Blue Mountains. The view is breathtaking, but you definitely have to dress for the hike. African Tigress, its not a coincidence that those narrative put our in the news for years about African, Jamaica and other countries. Thank God for RU-vidrs around the world giving us "birds eye" view about each and every countries. We see that Jamaica is not the same as the narrative that was put on TV and all Africans countries are not dried up with no water and children with large stomach and flies all over them. Some of us get to see how our Island, countries and Continent are so rich and beautiful. This RU-vid space will and is changing the narrative. There are 3 international airports in Jamaica, Ian Fleming airport in Oracabessa, St Mary is the 3rd one. It has been recently updated so that it could take some of the charter flights from the USA using the small jets. At least one US carrier said they would have started using the facility late last year.
