Man May look on the outside God looks at the heart no matter his situation when you throw up his past he has another testimony on where God has brought him from.. He's human just like us we mess up every day he's a pastor he sins everyday weather in the mind or for the world to see but God Forgives, he is a gift from God and now he can have another testimony that he mess up but thank God he's still alive plz don't judge just make sure your goin heaven
@gmandofgod Good morning. You're absolutely right Asaph was another amazing poet, however his shortcomings weren't really listed. Sorry. I am well aware that David didn't write ALL of the Psalms but he wrote a significant portion. Also, my point wasn't to condone what Jamal Bryant has done to his wife and family. My point was to emphasize that ALL of us have a day before God. And He's the only one that has the final say.
@MzLockSteady David only wrote some of the psalms, not ot all of them. Also, David missed out on blessings because of his sin. Is the message we want to send the chuch and the world is that a Pastor can cheat on his wife, and there is no consequences? What do you say about 1 Corinthians 5?
David, the author of Psalms was an adulterer and murderer and God still used him to write one of the most beautiful (in my opinion) books in the Bible. It's unfortunate that the body of Christ is so quick to throw our own away when they fall short. Yes, he was wrong but that's for God to deal with not us. I'm just sayin' though. Be blessed.
anyway i won't turn this into a debate and waiste my time to another judgemental person but know to hold your own lock because nobody has the key to there future.. don't open nobody's book if your isn't close aswell
@MzLockSteady Yea but he was wrong one to many times. He should of stepped down from pulpit preaching for awhile and get counseling. But because some people make celebrities out of the popular preachers, they never seem to be accountable. When you r not accountable u r more than likely to repeat the same behavior.

@62469 Sin is judged by God. First of all, our short comings aren't to be evaluated by men but by the one true God. Our job as brothers and sisters in Christ is to pray for the redemption of said individual. In John 8 a woman was brought to Jesus that was caught in the act of adultery. Jesus said whoever is sinless go ahead cast the first stone. None of us can judge who or what this man is. That has nothing to do with us.
@mspinkytee You don't know what he went through. He didn't cheat on you, he cheated on his wife who eventually left him. He don't owe you, me or anyone else who wants to judge him or see him punished, nothing! Ew, mind yo' business and live your perfect, sanctified, never-mess-up life, and those who may fall short alone.
@mspinkytee I definitely agree with the counseling and preaching hiatus suggestions. I notice that he's recently giving counseling to K-Ci and Jo Jo on that TV One show. lol!!!! Honestly the only point I was attempting to make is that the beauty of God is that no matter how many times we slip and fall He's a redeemer. I don't have a heaven or hell to put Jamal Bryant in and it's up to God and only God to judge him accordingly. That's all I was trying to get across.
@gmandofgod I mean I know I've missed out on some things because of my being hard headed and thinking I could do what I wanted to do. I'm not discounting that his actions were wrong and arrogant (seeing as how he's still pastoring). All I was saying is that none of us have lived pristine lives even after claiming to be "saved" However, your reference to 1 Corinthians 5 was a good. Very good point. Have a great day.
